I just noticed that the Disney website now has this resort listed under Parks. They have some photos, renderings, and a couple of videos (including a time lapse video) that are nice. Here's the link to the page with the videos if anyone is interested:

I saw that they're going to also use this resort as apart of their Disney Weddings plan. I'd love to go out there since I was born in Hawaii and I've always wanted to get a chance to see and experience the beauty of the island.

That looks amazing! I've always wanted to visit Hawaii, why not do it Disney style?! It almost reminds me of what the Poly was originally supposed to look like!

If I recall correctly the neighbors to the resort had to photoshop their photos for the sites during the construction, which seems innocent until people got mad that they could see cranes.

It was due to open this year, DVC can be used to go there but I'm not sure if it is linked in any other way to DVC, although it has one,two and deluxe suites so it may be a host resort as well.

Cool, thanks, i.c.!
I'm going to have to check with our family member who is already in the DVC and see what it would take for us to use her points for that one.

Someday I would love to go here with Dh. I looks so lovely and why not add Disney with a beautiful vacation. Maybe for our 20yr anniversary or something.

There are billboards up in Orlando advertising it already.
