Single Rider

Post by Amy » Sep Thu 30, 2010 2:23 pm

Does anyone know which attractions at the parks offer single rider lines? I remember breezing on to Indy Jones for a few trips and then the last time we went, the single rider line had been discontinued :( It was really sad since I could see, after getting close enough to the load area, that many of the Indy transports went off with empty seats!

I know Soarin' in DCA used to have a single rider line..but like Indy, I think it's gone by the wayside

Rock'n Roller Coaster has one (since WDW is being included) (you get to use an extra hardcore rockstar entrance) I can't recall in Dinosaur has a single rider. Soarin' at Epcot might since the California one has it.

I'm surprised there aren't more attractions with single rider lines. It really makes sense to have each vehicle full. And the single rider line can easily utilize the same line as the fastpass return. I suppose I desire this more because I go on a lot of attractions alone (my Mom can't ride many attractions due to medical limitations) and get bored standing in line by myself. Sometimes I am lucky and have people that are chatty in line but usually I am stuck staring at whatever details I can see in line. The Indy ride out in DL was particularly bad one time. I think the wait was almost an hour and I was sooooo bored since the line was inching along at a slothly pace.

I can confirm that at WDW there are single rider lines at Test Track and EE because I use them. Currently that's all there are.
Here's a link to some helpful info on that subject and the "child swap" program.

You're right, I stand corrected. I forgot about that one because I've never used it so I don't think about it. I also double-checked my source for my last post and it was slightly outdated information.

So, TT, EE, and Mission Space. Thanks. Now, I wonder how they will feel about me using the child swap line without a child!
