Thespin - Isn't Thespin where the Gungans live? If so, begin by booking a flight to visit the cloud city but diverted underwater, visit the Gungans (and that really cool tunnel with the monsters - SW1), end with the fireworks at Cloud City.
Endor - got to follow the speeders through the woods and end with the Ewoks
Aldaraan - don't you think it will involve knowing that the Death Star is about to blow up the planet and trying to get out there on time? (of course, this begs the question why everyone didn't know ahead of time, but that's Hollywood revisionism, eh?)
The Gungans lived on the planet Naboo, where Amidala (Luke and Leia's birth mother) was once queen. The Cloud City from the Empire Strikes Back is on the planet Bespin.

Thanks, MF. I knew something was wrong there. Can't think of a scenario for Bespin. Can you?

I have one concern for this new version of Star Tours to come. I know some people have a problem with 3D images. Does anyone know if this movie will use the newer technology where the film looks ok and not too fuzzy even if people don't use the 3D glasses?

I know the current ride doesn't use 3D, and of all the ride-motion attractions in Orlando I think the only one that uses 3D currently is Spiderman at Universal's IoA. Does anyone know if Disney has said yet if Star Tours 2.0 will use 3D film or not?

I'm not quite sure if they brought it up. Keep an eye out for any other posts on the official blog to see if they have stated anything.

I'm sure the new Star Tours 2.0 will be 3D, I'm just wondering if it will be the kind of 3D film that doesn't have such blurry images without the glasses. I've heard several people complain that they sort of get a headache from those. Although with it being a shorter duration I don't know if it would affect them or not.

I am pretty sure they CMs told me the new ST was going to be 3D 2 weeks ago. Also, Bespin would actually be a cool place to vip around the gas mines and flaoting cities! I am game!!!

The original press release says nothing about it being 3D or not. It depends how much they want to spend changing over the hardware....

I hope the new ST will be in 3D. I think that will make the experience way better! It will make you feel like you are there more than you do now.

Found this from the D23 Expo, so the Star Tours in DL will be 3D for sure...I would assume the one in WDW would be as well.

I had a feeling it would be in 3D. I'm still not a fan of it at all but if it works with the ride, more power to it.

I love seeing people do that sort of thing. My favorite will be someone playing the Super Mario theme on the piano.

One of my students played that! I would get the tune stuck in my head for hours afterwards ~ not fun
