I liked the Mr. Potato Head since he didn't seem too creepy at all for me and that was because he was mounted on a stand where he only moved a bit. Mickey, though, is moving all the time and walking so that would be even more scary.

This is a little scary. I for one do not like it and really hope to not run into a talking Mickey while I'm there in July. It seems like something that was similar to the blinking eyes of a a few years ago.

However, I do think that it could be something really cool and interesting to see how a 5 year old would interact with Mickey Mouse.

Not surprised, dude. After you were stepping out with Minnie last summer behind his back, I'm sure if he could talk he would loads to say to you. If Mickey wants to talk to you, Len90, just run in opposite direction! Tell him it was her fault!

What is creepier...a talking Mickey that looks and sounds exactly like the cartoon one...or this?

It is amazing to see how far the characters have come along in appearance. I remember seeing the characters in Prime Time Cafe on the TV loop during the Disneyland opening ceremony.

It really is amazing how we take advancements in technology and manufacturing for granted. People actually thought those former Mickey costumes were acceptable to represent the Mouse in the parks back then. Heck...Walt thought they were good enough! Boggles the mind, it does.

Odd how they did Donald Duck better than Mickey Mouse in that old black and white photo? :? :?:

funny pictures, we advance so fast in everything now. Those aren't even a century old yet and they look like a thing of ancient history.

I had watched the live stream for the World of Color premiere last week and I couldn't get over how creepy he was talking and blinking. I almost cringed when he took a photo with Teri Hatcher and asked for another because he said he blinked.
