If you could go back in time, what Disney Park Decade would you choose to visit?

For me, 1980's Disneyland and Disneyworld would be awesome...

or see the opening of EPCOT Center, but would have loved to have been there...



Even though Disney was struggling in the 1980's, it was the end of the classic Disney era.

What about you? 1950's, 1990's?

I would love to have been able to see the beginning of Disney in the 50's. Some of those attractions look pretty wild - the flying saucers, the mule ride. Plus everyone looks so happy in the photos!

For me it would be the 1990s. The main reason is that everything that was great about the 1980s was completed by 1990. All of the greatness of Epcot was there in the early 90s, plus we got Animal Kingdom in 1998. So, I think visiting the parks in the early 90s would still give that nostalgic feeling and the later 90s would give us more of what we have now.

Good point. I think right about 1996 things started going downhill. Perhaps the death of Frank Wells (1994) left the Eisner era without a rudder for the ship.

I'm not one for dwelling on the past. While I liked alot of the stuff from the 80's and 90's, I like visiting the parks now. Although I think it's a little early to pick the 2010's. I'd like to see what happens over the next few years.

I voted for the 70's but it would have to be from about 1975 to 1985. Those were great years at WDW!!

I voted for the 80's, though it more covers the late eighties/early nineties.

darn this is a tough question. My first thought is the 90s because things were cooking at Disney. If not the 90s, then I go for the 80s for the new experience of EPCOT and a mature MK. Can you say TimeMachine Hot Tub?

I don't know what a TimeMachine Hot Tub is but I think I am in!

I need a Delorean or a TARDIS to take me to the 80s so I can see what I've missed. I had to be born in 88...

I would have to go with the 1980's. I would love to see classic EPCOT and a Tomorrowland that was actually appropriately themed at MK.

Also, moving this to General. I think it fits in best there.

From what I have heard/read online, I'm going to say the 1980's.

I'd love to ride the atommobiles on Adventures Thru Inner Space. Never got to experience that first hand.
