I'd love to go back to 75 when the MK had a little of everything that is now in the other parks. It was just so magical! Great memories!

I would love to go back to the 60's, when DL just opened! I would like to see how it all started, walk the same streets that Walt walked and would've loved to have met the man himself!

I think I'd love to go around the early 90s to WDW when all the good attractions were still there like Alien Encounter, Wonders of Life pavilion, etc.

I voted 80's - mainly because that's when I grew up going to WDW. . . I'm a little biased. :-)

I have fond memories as a little kid of Horizon’s, World of Motion, and 20,000 Leagues … it’d be neat to go to back to the 80s and 90s as an adult to see if they could entertain me the way Pirates and the Haunted Mansion still do. Or if I would find them tired and lame ...

Wonders of Life pavilion and World of Motion.
I have been to both of these attractions.
I have the video evidence somewhere.

I cannot remember either of them clearly. :? I just remember how much fun it was.

Back to the early 90s please.

Hmmmmmmm, it's odd people remember things more fondly once they're gone - like World of Motion or Captain Eo...

Maybe somethings are better in our memories than they were in reality - I think Captain Eo's return is proving that...

If it's good, it's great as a memory. If it's bad, it's awful!

You know I think that is quite true. I've seen some videos of World of Motion and wonder if it was as great as I recall. I am glad the songs linger though...those are some of my favorites from that attraction :D

I picked the 70's just so I could visit River Country when it was brand spanking new and still in existence. Mindflipper...you are so right!

I have to split my vote between the two U.S. parks: Disneyland, right after the '60's revamp of Tomorrowland where we got CoP, Peoplemover, Inner Space, America the Beautiful film, it was so good. Then for WDW, 1980's, right after the opening of Epcot. Brand new Epcot was just mind-boggling to me, absolutely loved every bit of it, especially Horizons and the original Dreamfinder and Figment.

I would guess that the majority of people here chose the 80's for 2 reasons... either they are a child of the 80's (like me) and that was when they took thier first trip to Disney, or they are huge fans of EPCOT (like me) and want to go during its early days and some would say heydays.

Any thoughts?

You might be right on that. I was 13 when I first went to EPCOT and enjoyed everything about it during the 80's. I think most everything was fresh and new and exciting then as well ~ at least for EPCOT.

I want to see 80s Epcot... 90s Epcot was okay, but I really want to see the original.
