I voted for the '80s, although it also spills into the early '90s as well. This was the time when I went to the park as a child and thus was the base for my enjoyment of the parks today. So many attractions are gone that I would love to see again (mainly from EPCOT).
However, I have always wanted to go back to the days when DL first opened and those early years when Walt would be walking around on any given day. I would love to see/hear the expressions of the guests on the attractions that still exist and I would have loved to experience those attractions I never got to (i.e. Nature's Wonderland, Flying Saucers, Mule Pack rides, Indian Village).

If it weren't "creepy"...I would love to take myself to the parks as a child. My first trip to WDW was in 1986. It would be fun to go back in time and take me as a child around MK and Epcot for the first time.
Only problem is that might create a rift in the space-time continuum...according to Doc Brown.

Yes, it would be fantastic to have a digital camera and travel back in time to Epcot! There are so many pictures I would take!Future Guy wrote:Definitely the '80s. Specifically around 1987 or 88, when all the classic EPCOT Center pavilions were there, and before any of them started to show their age.
Wouldn't it be awesome to travel back to the WDW in the '80s and take a nice digital camera along?

would definitely go back to the 80's - Epcot was newer and still had the original rides plus MGM opened in 89 and Little Mermaid came out that year.....good times for disney
Micheal Eisner gets criticized sometimes but you gotta give it to the man, his "reign" was the most exciting in Disney history --- aside the "reign" of Walt himself of course

I would have loved to be at EPCOT when it was newer. When I think 80's all I can think is the EPCOT visions of space travel and the future...
