The loop at the Wilderness Lodge...laying by the Villas pool listening to the Western-themed music...one of the most relaxing experiences

Today I thought I heard the music for Soarin'. I got excited and then realized it wasn't =/.

The sound of the ferry and boat whistles out on Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon. Does it for me every time.

Hearing the Mark Twain whistle while I'm still at the parking structure. It's beckoning me to hurry.

The Jungle Drums from those....jungle drum totem water spitting thingies in Adventure Land. The TTA tone. The Star Tours Tone. The Monorail announcements. The whoosh of the monorail. The sound of people regurgitating/improvising lines to go along with the RNR pre-show.

Maybe the best is the sound of the chains/ropes as they drop at the opening of any park.

We live within hearing range of a working train museum and we hear the old steam whistles all the time. It always reminds me of Mainstreeet Station.

Now all you need is for them to do the "Shave and a Haircut" routine the trains at MK do with each other and the Liberty Belle River Boat and you'd be set. :mickey:

Very cute.

At work the other day I had a cat trying to jump out of the cage I was cleaning so I said "Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas"
My coworker said "What did you tell that cat about doors?"
I told her I learned all my Spanish from the Disney World Monorail and she said "I have no doubt."

I want that for a ringtone, since that is one of my favorite sounds....And the train whistle.

I love on star tours if your close to the entry door to the motion simulator you can hear the ride going so its easy to tell how much longer the wait will be. Plus for the first second the doors open they still have the lights on below the motion simulator, free backstage view! for a fleeting second

Wow, I just discovered this thread! There's so many cool sounds, I don't know where to start!
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet (don't want to read through every page....), but the first one that comes to mind for me is the cars on Test Track. You can hear them from all over the place, and I just love that sound when I'm nearby.

I love hearing the cars roar around that area. I'm always picturing the speed sign saying 64.7 mph hoping it will be 64.8 or .9 on my turn :D

I really like the sound of the logs as they load onto the flume and then the sound they make on their way down...before (and in addition to) the splash
