I think that is the most important and distinguishable background music. However I tend to agree with dmxwidget in that all the music does it. I am really amazed to see that time and time again how huge of a role the background music serves. It is really the thing that completes the theming. It is also fascinating to see the music transitions between two differently themed areas.imaginationcelebration wrote:I love hearing the sound of the background music as you are enter EPCOT. It really sets the stage for a great time.

Great thread, Madeye! And funny enough as you mentioned in your opening post I have the Star Tours tone as my "text" notifier on my cell phone. I think of it every time I get a text!
I'll put up the sound of the boats travelling around the Boardwalk, they are so subtle but something would be missing if it wasn't there.

That's at the airport though, right? If it was at Disney, it would mean you were leaving instead...secondstar wrote:I love the sound of the Magical Express luggage doors shutting. That means, we're on our way!

Glad to see I am not the only one who has WDW/Disney ring/message tones on my phone.

I personally think most of us have at least one Disney ring tone. I know my brother is Soarin' and any random call is Spectro.MadEye wrote:Glad to see I am not the only one who has WDW/Disney ring/message tones on my phone.

Yes, MadEye, it's at the airport. Usually, I'm too depressed to take notice of any sounds on the way FROM Disney.MadEye wrote:That's at the airport though, right? I think it's the Monorail for me!
Also the train at MK!
The Living Seas also does it for me!

I agree, the background music and the differences in the areas is so cool. I also love the steamboat and railroad whistles - you just don't hear those sounds in Michigan!Len90 wrote:I am really amazed to see that time and time again how huge of a role the background music serves.
