It seems this is always the angle we get while Okapi viewing.
They know their best angle is their stripey side ;)
Nice shot :D

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Nice photo of that "other" castle Alacrity :D Here is my counter offering...although it was taken on the fly so it isn't nearly as nice as yours...

By the way, for my non-believers in my abilities to cobble together trip reports in a timely fashion, this photo was taken just this morning :P

Oooo, Osborne Lights! Nice! I certainly hope they return next year, even if they move them to a different area of the parks.
I am sad to say I didn't even get a photo of the castle all lit up last night. We had left Figment to watch the parade near the train station while my brothers and I walked out to the car to get him on his way to the airport, and when my other brother and I returned, we simply exited out the park to get over to DCA. Definitely will have to remedy that on one of our remaining two evenings at the parks!!

He's so cute! Is he in one of the windows at the Osborne lights?

He looks like a puppy you'd see in a pet store window...wanting you to come in and take him home

Look closer, Amy. :D It appears that they placed the item in a phone booth.

A solid statement on the usefulness of payphones these days.
