That's cool daluke ~ looks like an extra long exposure? Did you use a tripod?

It is a bit of a long exposure - 5 sec?, but in this case I did not have my tripod, I put it on a garbage can. I usually have a tripod, but this night I was just wandering around and happened to catch Illuminations. Couldn't even find an unobstructed spot to watch from - that's a tree branch in the upper left corner!

Smart thinking using the trash can ~ didn't even really notice the branch over there. Too busy looking at the awesome fireworks instead!

Pretty! Is that taken from a walking path?

It's from the bridge that crosses over to the Boardwalk side after leaving Epcot by the International Gateway. Folks gather there for the fireworks too.

Looks like a pretty nice vantage point ~ you only miss a little of the bottom of the fireworks looks like.

It's a very common place for people to watch Illuminations. You can kind of hear the music in the distance and only miss some of the low stuff. If you have nowhere to be and are staying at the EPCOT resorts, its a nice thing to do. I personally would prefer going into the park and camp out on the France bridge area.

daluke and alacrity: Great to see more people taking tripods and doing those long exposure night shots! I just got back 2 nights ago and I have some great night shots I have to share! The results make lugging a tripod in the 95 degree heat worth it :D
