But at least waiting 20 minutes for a 20 minute break on your keister is better than waiting 20 minutes for a 2 minute break for an attraction.
I can see both points. I think I like having the show opportunities though...

Ugh, I never saw Cars and it just doesn't appeal to me. No matter, I can try whatever comes into the theater, if it's really not to my taste, then I just won't make it a point to go again.

Everything deserves a chance. I usually will give it a couple tries before I write it off completely...just in case I'm (or the show is) having an off day!

I wonder if the Conrad Murray trial (it's on the news every night and they were trying for an OJ style coverage early on) is having any impact on ride interest?

I wouldn't think so. At least not outside of southern Cali. It really isn't getting much news coverage out here in the Midwest....unless it is on cable, then I have no idea.

Well, that's good to know! I'm hoping he hangs on through mid-March. :)

I would guess you will probably be in luck. I doubt they will close it before they have something new to take it's place. It was pretty funny, when we went to see it, the cm's kept telling people to move all the way forward filling in all the available space as the show was going to be full. Over and over they said this, and when it was all said and done, the theater ended up being about 1/3 full...

Yes, there are some laser effects. And the shaker table is used, but I don't remember any smoke effects.

We saw it back in the 80's when it first came out. It definitely is showing it's age on this go 'round...

I'm not surprised it would look dated. Models vs CGI and all?

You're just another part of me...! :D
