How often do you visit Disneyland or WDW?
Hi everyone. After reading various responses from various topics in the forums, I began to wonder how often some of you get a chance to visit the Disney parks. It appears that, some of you are really lucky and visit quite often. I, on the other hand, have never been to Disneyland, but I've been to WDW about nine times over the past 30 years. I can't tell you how much I wish I could visit more. Who is lucky enough to visit as often as you'd like?

I am a new Annual Passholder at WDW, so I will be going a lot over the next year. We only live about 7 hours away (Atlanta), so where we can't visit with the frequency of every weekend, we are planning on visiting at least a few times over the next 12 months.
As far as Disneyland is concerned, I am trying but have never been able to get out there yet...

Generally I go to Disneyland at least once a year, but lately I have been going twice a year. I have found that it works out cheaper to go to Disneyland for me. I live in SE Pennsylvania and yet it is cheaper to go to DL, I didn't believe it myself until I started looking at the bills. I used to go to WDW once a year but then My brother and I decided to go to DL for the 50th celebration (actually it was the July 14 - 18 2005 During the actual Birthday, and we fell in love with it.

I've only ever been to WDW. in the 80s, we managed to get down there twice in the span of about 3 years. 90s saw 1 trip in '99, since then, I've had 3 trips, early was every year (2001 and 2002). then a 4 year wait - 2006. won't go this year, and probably won't for a couple years. But, I'm still hoping one of these days...

not nearly often enough... In the past 35 years I've been 6 times. My wife and I have been trying for once every 3 years, however the arrival of our son pushed the last one off by two years.
I've never been to any of the other parks and hold some weird snobbery around WDW, imagining that the other parks will pale in comparison, I mean, there's only one Epcot!!! I do know how foolish that is and hopefully will get to the other parks someday, but for now, every chance I get I just want to go to WDW!!

Sorry, Boilerbabe, apparently I wasn't clear in my post. It's not that I've only been to Epcot, it's just that Epcot doesn't exist in California, Paris, Tokyo or Hong Kong! And I have trouble wrapping my head around a Disney vacation that doesn't involve it.
I love walking down Main Street and feel there is no more quintessential Disney experience as strolling up Main Street towards the castle! In fact it is the first and last thing I do on any of my trips!
And I acknowledge that my opinion is short sighted, closed minded and several other unfortunate things, I just can't seem to grow out of it! :: shrug ::

I've never been to Disneyland, but will one day!
I've been to WDW, let me see....5 times the last time was in 2006, but before that it was 20+ years!
I hope to make it to WDW again soon, and not wait 20 years!

Let me see I was born in 1990. My first trip to WDW was in 1995. I was also there in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008. I was only at Disneyland once and that was in 2001. Overall, I consider myself extremely lucky to have been exposed to WDW so many times in my life so far. I think if I add it up I have 8 trips to WDW and 1 to Disneyland. It is probably all of the Disney as a child that made me addicted to it now. I am already pushing for next summer. I know there is a week set aside for a family trip. I just have to hope the Disney magic is on my side!!
