Okay, we live too far to visit as often as we like - although the kids have hinted at moving to California or Florida any number of times. At first, our trips were limited to every other year... then they moved to every year and a half. Then we bought a DVC membership... (see how this works, lol) The current trend is every year for the kids and me and every other year as a family.
We'll see what happens in the future.

Since moving to Colorado, we really don't do Disneyland that much anymore. When I lived 20 minutes way and worked there, heck we always there. We tried living in Florida, and it was okay until the 3rd hurricane hit and we said forget it.
We now usually manage to do WDW every year for about two weeks. Otherwise we go into really bad withdrawal...I start to itch and lose all sense of reality and my husband starts making threats about not ever shoveling snow again unless he gets see the mouse real soon.

That is exactly the year we were there and got hit by all three-a direct hit from Hurricane Charley and 3 weeks with no electricity and having to boil water...you better believe we got out after the 3rd hit!

When I lived in L.A. I went to DL about twice a month. Now I live in Arizona but travel to Orlando on business and have been able to go to WDW every month or two. It has been very interesting getting used to a different home resort. I always thought I'd always know DLR better but now I am getting very familiar with WDW.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

My DH and I used to have annual passes for DL and we live about 4 hours away. We used to go on average every other month for a 3 day weekend. But when DH lost his job right before our passes expired, we knew we couldn't renew them. We haven't gone since October 2007. We were supposed to go last weekend, but plans fell through at the last minute.
This is why I am so glad to have found this site...helps with the serious withdrawals.
Didn't mean for it to turn into a sob story...sorry
