What REALLY bothered me was when they played the year of a million dreams theme (flying) at the rope drop for Epcot's 25th and how they had to stress, that the anniversary was part of the continuing celebration of the year of a million dreams.
They couldn't even be bothered to play "We've Just Begun to Dream" which could still be heard at the rope drops even up to a few years ago.
And the other thing is that I hate how Disney just took the music from Peter Pan. I understnad they paid to use it and whatnot, but it still bothers me that they couldn't write their own theme song for the celebration. I can't watch Peter Pan now without thinking about the year of a million dreams. That score should never have been taken out of context, it ruins the effect when you actually watch the movie now. (It's my favorite adaptation of Peter Pan. Although I love the Disney version, I also like the darker fairytales that stay more true to the original works)

I'd like to see the new theme be "Pixar, cause Disney is Dead!" they could have free movie/dvd's to give away...they could change every attraction to reflect a pixar movie!...like Pirates of the Treasure Island! or Splash Mountain Incredibles, Hall of Wall-e, Toy Story Mansion: Sid's House!, It's a Pixar World, Carousel of Pixar, how sweet would this be!

I hope that this is true too as the promotions do loose their impact when they are every year. Here in the UK we have been recently inundated with adverts for Paris Disney at its anniverary.jcodirewolf wrote:The rumors I've been hearing is they are going to wait till 2011-2012 for the next one, 40th of WDW . They will be doing short "Celebrations" between now and then (a few weeks to a few months) But the huge year long ones are over till 2011 (late in the year I would guess, since WDW opened in Oct 1971.)
