i was last there 3 years ago. I believe it was before the renovation. It was still a beautiful restaurant then. I hope to eat there again. I've been there 3x and we love it

Mine was Kona Cafe Cafe, but I was extremely disappointed by the recent-ish (at least a year ago now) menu changes.
Now our favorites seem to be California Grill and Sanaa.

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Nice ~ I'd like to go at least once, but more just for dessert and a drink maybe as I mostly want to go for the view!grimmghosts96 wrote:i was last there 3 years ago. I have only been to the world 3 times, but so far my favorite eatery is definitely Boma. found several new foods that I love, that I would have never had the opportunity to taste if it weren't for them.

Can't recommend it enough. Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge is top notch.

I've been reading some reviews that the CG isn't quite up to par anymore, both in terms of food and service. Have you had any negative experiences there?octoberbarry wrote:We're all about the California Grill in our house...

I haven't been to CG since December but I haven't had visit where I thought it was lacking in any way. We've had servers that were great and servers that were average but nothing I'd consider lacking. The food has always been good to outstanding. Again, nothing I'd call below par.

Re: Favorite Resort Restaurant?
That's encouraging. It would be a shame to go there and have a bad experience given the price. I'd love to go at least once just for the view!Alacrity wrote:I haven't been to CG since December but I haven't had visit where I thought it was lacking in any way.
