I've really only been to one sit-down restaurant, and that's the Blue Bayou at Disneyland. You cannot beat the atmosphere (I mean, it's in the freakin' Pirates RIDE!) and the food is pretty good...I still dream of the prime rib. :o

I think my favorite resort restaurant is Kona Cafe. I really enjoyed everything I had.

Boma. The food is so different but not scary. I love it.

I would say Crystal Palace for breakfast, Sanaa for lunch, and California Grill for dinner. It's hard to choose sometimes, though. One place that we also love for breakfast is Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside. For lunch and dinner we also love Jiko, Artist Pointe, Le Cellier, Biergarten, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Tokyo Dining; among others. I guess it depends on what mood we're in.

I really enjoyed Sanaa but my family was less than enthused. I'm afraid it was a little too foreign for them. I guess Boma is as far as they'll go.

I'm going to have to go with chef mickeys. I'm a vegetarian and they always have food i can eat that I actually like. 1900 park fare is good too but i don't like going there for breakfast as I don't really care for those characters.

An argument can be made for any of the resort restaurants. Disney does a very good job offering selections that would satisfy any pallet. My favorite resort restaurant would have to be the California Grill. I just think that the atmosphere cannot be matched anywhere on property. Narcoosees (spelling?), Artist Point, and Ohana come in a very very close second though.

Finally got to over to Boma. We had breakfast there. It was outstanding! I can see why people rave about it. Next time I'll have to try to the dinner.

The dinner is very, very good! And if you like that, then you will love Jiko. But I have to say that I was disappointed that Jiko changed the menu on us before our last trip. I went there specifically to have the scallops, and they no longer had them. Major thermonuclear bummer. But still, the flatbreads alone are worth the effort.

I have to say we don't generally eat at the restaurants much. If anything we eat lunch in the parks and that's about it. I have eaten at Olivia's in Key West when we stayed there and found it very casual and comfy but very good as well. I am happy to see so many choose Chef Mickey as we are scheduled to have a character dinner there in February. They are even providing goodie bags at the table for my nepews birthday! :mickey:
