Last time I was on JC and we went by the hippos, the skiper said "ok, now everyone is safe, unless you are wearing all white and acting like a marble!" My fiance and I were hysterical!! we were the only one that got the joke. ...if anyone needs me to explain just ask.
"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

i love this ride but i haven't been on in a while. anyway, the most corniest joke that i think is over used is when we see the elephants. the skipper would say something cheesy like, "Oh, look here are the elephants! Don't worry folks, they're wearing their trunks!"

aw, cast member humor.

Skipper Bill I believe did this. He asked if anyone was staying to see Wishes tonight. The whole boat raised there hand. So while going through the cave, he decided to give us a preview of wishes. He started singing the wishes music and flashing on and off the the lights while making fireworks noises. We were all hysterical from this.

I wish I had the video camera for that one. It really was hysterical. I would say just keep going on the ride over and over again. The skippers all have their own thing and there is really never a long wait for it.

It was a 60 minute wait for us last summer so we never rode... missed it, too. Love that this ride still allows for cast member personality. I'm sure its next major refurb will make it an automated track and ride.

My favorite "CM joke" was in tomorrowland, can't remember whether it was WDW or DL, but a couple of CM's had those air zooka cannons. They would mess with kids by firing the things at kids backs. The kids would turn around and at that moment the CM's were "talking to eachother" so the kid didn't know where the air came from. Then they would do it again, and again, and again until the kids figure out what was going on.

I had a cast member ask me if I could do him a favor while we waited for our boat to pull up on the Jungle Cruise. He brought me over in front of the whole queue line, called for everone's attention then asked me to sing and do the "I'm a little tea pot dance." I appreciated the humor and everone cheered at least.
"now, bring me that horizon"

A CM joke for JC that I recall involved boarding the boat. The CM would request that everybody sit down on the cushioned bench and slide on over to the other side of the boat. In addition to giving his reason for not crossing over the crates in the center (trip, fall, point, laugh, be fired, etc.), he would thank the guests for helping to clean the seat cushions while boarding.
Are we there yet? When can we go back?

I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

On our last jungle cruise ride - at the very end the CM said " You all have been outstanding - and that is exactly what I want you to do now, get out of my boat and be out standing on that deck". It was the first time that I had ever heard that one, lol :) - blue
You say wicked - like it's a bad thing!

That is hysterical. I've had to do it in public years ago at Prime Time and it really gets everyone laughing.
