What park would you want to live 45 miles from, and why?

WDW has so many awesome memories for me growing up. So i would pick that one.

I love Disneyworld. Living close would be my dream. I would visit the parks weekly. Anyway, Florida is a less expensive place to live than California--no state tax.

Humidity is my enemy. So that would be a no for WDW. And besides that, I feel like Disneyland can't be beat. I've really missed some of the attractions that are not in WDW when I have been in Florida. The only thing I miss from WDW when I am in Disneyland is Expedition Everest! And Disneyland has more churros and better merchandise.

I lived in California for many years and visited Disneyland quite a few times. When they added the Downtown and California Adventure, they took out some of my favorite spots around the Disneyland Hotel and it has never been the same for me. After taking my wife to WDW in Florida, she won't even consider going back to Disneyland. We live 275 miles from Disney Paris but it is just not the same so we spend our summer leave back at WDW!

Walt Disney World for sure! I find that this creates an almost separate society cut-off from nearly all problems of the world. This has activities that can occupy you for at least a week without ever going off the property and nothing can come close to this.

WDW. But I think 45 miles might be a bit too close. We're about 900 miles away right now. If they had built the park in Washington, DC, it would have been about a 4 hour drive from our house. I think that would be the perfect distance.

I picked DL. Of-course that would require moving back to the West Coast

I would love to live close enough to pop in to the park anytime I wanted. I would just need to make sure I had a job that supported my DL habit financially

According to Mapquest, our house is 924.28 miles from the entrance to Walt Disney World. So, it's about equal distance for you and I!

That's pretty far to make visits often, but as I said in my earlier post, I wouldn't want to be 45 miles away from any of the parks either. Too crowded, and too tempting to go too often.

About 100-150 miles away would be perfect!

WDW, because Epcot is my baby. Plus, if you live near WDW, you're also very close to Seaworld, Universal, and Busch Gardens Africa. Not that they rank anywhere NEAR Disney, but they'd at least be something to throw into the mix every so often to spice things up.

I currently live 55-60 miles (in Tampa) frow WDW, and it's perfect. I have an AP and go up 2-3 times a month, get there in the afternoon, hit a park or two, then PI, and drive back. I love it: close enough for a day trip, but far enough that I can't go everyday.

I've been to DL a few times (will probably go back after the Mark VIIs are up and running), and think I would not visit as often, as there is not as much to do. Besides, there's Strongbow to be had at the Rose & Crown!

I currently live around 1500 miles from both parks, clearly it's time to create Disneyland Minnesota! Still, the distance does make trips to Disney even more special and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
