(this probably has already been done...but lets do it again!)

What traditions do you partake in when you arrive at any of the Parks?

-we always get a Dole Whip.
-we always get Fish and Chips to eat from The UK Pavillion
-Collect a map from every park

these are just a few of the traditions we always do.

Ohana has been for quite sometime and Biergarten is becoming one.

We also always buy a Photo Album and a wacky Picture Frame from the trip.

- Eat at San Angel Inn the last nigh of our trip
- Eat at Boma's for breakfast the day before departure
- Take a family picture in front of the Carousel of Progress sign
- Spacehsip Earth is the last ride we go on before we leave
- Last day is always park-hopping day

WE normally arrive in the afternoon and wonder through Downtown Disney that evening. This builds the anticipation to run to the park first thing in the morning. We like to hit the Carnation Cafe on the way in. Then we jump into one of our favorite rides, Peter Pan, or Pirates or the Haunted Mansion.

We're still building on traditions, my wife and I, but one we definitely have at Disneyland is this:

The first morning opening we're there (so not necessarily the first day we arrive), we always do the Fantasyland dark rides first thing, because we love them, but not enough to wait half an hour. And it's always in the same order: Alice, Toad, Peter, Snow White, Pinnochio (if you know the layout of DL's Fantasyland, you'll know why).

I've noticed that since so often we get in a little later in the day and can't jump right out of the cannon, we tend to do DCA when we first arrive.

1) Check-in first thing, no matter when we arrive. If the room isn't ready, that's fine.

2) World Showcase TS meal. Somewhere different - this trip is Morrocco

3) SSE as first thing at Epcot - no matter the wait. Won't happen this trip, but it will resume once SSE is back in action.

4) Since we've always gone with extended familiy of at least 4 or more, one night for just my wife and I. Even if its just dinner.

We always get a family picture in front of the ball at EPCOT. We can see our boys growing up through these pictures. Another one is: we have different themes when the picture is taken on R&R in MGM. The picture is taken right at the launch and we've done sleeping, board, fighting, moose ears (thumbs touching our heads and fingers straight up), crying like babies, thumbing our noses, and hiding our eyes.
We always eat at the Chinese walk up for our first meal at EPCOT. We also have to have fish and chips to watch the British invasion.
Daddy always gets a couple of hours of alone time at the ESPN Sports Zone

Gosh .. we have lots. Off the top of my head:

1) My husband and I always go to take a picture of ourselves on the bench in the Magic Kingdom we got engaged on (turn right just before the popcorn seller).

2) Liberty Tree Tavern is (almost) always lunch on the last day.

3) SSE is a must as first ride at Epcot (we almost never get to the parks early enough for there to be a line there...).

4) Take a picture of one/both of us pointing to our Leave a Legacy things (we have two, both were 'free' ... *shrug*)

5) Peoplemover is always the last ride before we leave.

6) Collect a fresh set of park maps/brochures and one of each size bag.

I'll do my best. This will be a neat change in my normal dining habits. We've done Mexico, Italy and Japan. I have a real hard time choosing between Germany, Morrocco, UK and Canada.

Wow, you walk to through Futureworld to World Showcase to eat and then back to the front of the park for SSE? I think you should change that schedule, that's like 15-30 minutes of time spend walking that could be used for rides. :)

I really like that idea. I'll be sure to do that at Disneyland whenever I have kids.

Hmm traditions.

For me, eat a sweet cream cheese pretzel. That's it.

If it's Disneyland- then attempt to eat at Blue Bayou.

Not in that order... sorry... my 1-5 was just a listing (should have done bullets)...

Epcot first park, SSE first ride. The TS dining is just the most stable of the traditions, my bad!
