i wonder if we counted back on this thread, how many people's traditions at WDW revolve around food? And if we applied that question to all visitors what the percentage would be? Curiously amused..

Interesting idea, you should start a thread for that and add a poll to it.

Maybe its because our most lasting and strongest memories are based on the sensory impression, principally from touch, taste, and hearing. It's the reason you get that "tune stuck in your head" occassionally. Same with taste. It's why a particular food item tastes better from a certain location - there was a sense of joy attached to that memory of taste, so the experience was enhanced by that sensation. So when we return, we wish to re-experience that memory/sensation and hence traditions are created.

I've read that the strongest memories are associated with smell!

No, not Doctor Mindflipper and Mr. Hyde.

"Doctor. Just the Doctor". Does that I mean I get the Daleks, too?

If you don't understand the reference, ask acp (a.k.a. Andy) here subsonic. Any Brit can tell you about the Doctor and the Daleks and what a TARDIS is.

Hey, can I get a TARDIS too? It would save TIME AND RELATIVE DIMENSIONS IN SPACE on my patrol flights.

And as Donna Noble would say, "Isn't that just wizard?"

Or as one of Catherine Tate's TV personas, Nan, would say, "Isn't that a pile of old sh*t!"

I am surprised to see so many people actually know what DOCTOR WHO is! And they're not even Brits like acp!
