Wow.... by the time I retire... Disneyland will be nearly 90 years old!! Who knows what attractions and such will be around when we reach that time. But if I had to choose something now, I'd wan to operate the monorail. I get to sit all day in an air conditioned cab, enjoy the sights, sounds and smells. And every once in a while entertain a child that sits with me in awe as I use to when I was his age.

Hmmm....well, I really don't want to think of myself as being old, but I think my retirement dream job would be something similar to what the Dream Team has done this year and last - granting dreams and such. I also think it would be fun to be a server at one of the restaurants.

I'd want to be a photopass photographer. I think that would be great or maybe a character handler.

My dream job would be to work at the Animal Kingdom, my background is in Zoology so I would love that. However for retirement I think I would love to work on Main Street and be able to bring the magic to people as they enter the park!!!

Wow, in that case instead of boat captain I want to either be a transporter operator (beaming guests around the resort) or a jet pack courier (delivering your park purchases to your resort room in a single bound.)bamato wrote:Wow.... by the time I retire... No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Both my wife and I did theater back in college. In fact, that's where we met. We both want to retire to WDW when we get older. I'd like to do something that requires me to "get into character."
I've often said, my dream job would be to be the Mayor of Main Street, U.S.A.
Others include:
-- Haunted Mansion
-- Tower of Terror
-- Safari Driver
Nice topic!
