All-time most favorite moment/memory while at Disney

on every trip to wdw my wife & i have taken a picture of our son in front of the large memorial stone just outside of the haunted mansion, it started when he was age five and in october 08'(14 years/8 pictures later) we will take picture #9 (don't know how many more will get before he leaves the roost. It is amazing to see how much he has grown in between trips to wdw.

There's a program called makeavi that makes sequenced images into movies. I used it for my time lapse set up of Halloween displays.

My favorite Disney memory was back in 2004. It was our last night at Disney and the weather was calling for some bad weather in the early evening. Our family was staying at the Boardwalk, so we grabbed dinner at the ESPN Zone and planned to go see IllumiNations afterwards. After dinner, we could definately tell that there were storms on their way, but we decided to go watch the fireworks anyway. Needless to say, the storm hit right before the fireworks, but they still went on with the show. The storm definately added a new element to the fireworks, and the spot that we picked on the bridge between England and France (to stay close to the resort) is still one of my favorites to this day.

Even though I have seen the IllumiNations show about a million times, that one sticks out as my favorite as well as one of my fondest memories of Disney.

I'd have to say that my most memorable moment at WDW was for the Opening of Innovations in 94. I was 8 and I was like a kid in a candy store, if I was bill gates and the candy was DOS.

I loved every minute of eating at Albert and Victorias. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to experience it.

I also love eating with the fish at the Corral Reef.

Dining is truly an experience at Disney World.

I also remember ringing in the New Year at Disney on my honeymoon.

Is there an age limit for V&A's? I remember going there when I was 10 (the same trip as my previous post). My younger sister was 7, and my older sister was 13. The waiter did say that we were very well-behaved kids.

Photowalking both DCA and DL. It was great soaking in the details of Disneyland and getting to experience the park in a different way.

I know that feeling. Just the takeoff alone when your feet dangle is enough to fill you with the Disney magic.

Same thing happens with my family. Everybody (except whoever is driving) takes out their camera and starts snapping away. It is amazing to see how just one sign can just change your feelings completely.

I guess my newest favorite memory was when I had two "Year of a Million Dreams" experiences in one park in one day- actually within a couple of minutes!

I was at WDW with my family, but I had some free time to the parks by myself. I went to Animal Kingdom. As I walked in, I picked up the ticket I had bought online. I wasnt sure if I wanted a Park Hopper or not, but I decided against it. The really nice Cast Member told me I can come back and add it in later if I want.

I wandered around the park for a while and ended the day pretty early, as alone one can cover AK pretty quickly. Especially cause I don't do scary rides, so no waiting for Everest.

So as I left since there was time for another park, I went back to get the Park Hopper and was very surprised to find the same CM at the counter! I chatted with her for a while, and told her about my family that I came with- including my then 8 month old nephew and his first trip to the World.
I bought the Park Hopper add-on, and when it was over she gave me a pin that she told me only CMs have to give out. It is a really cute Tinkerbell with some stars in the background.
I told her thanks a million times over and walked towards the parking lot, to catch a tram to my car.
That is when I got the second surprise.
There was a golf cart sitting where the tram comes in, with two CMs sitting and chatting. There was a mother and daughter walking in front of me, and as we three approached, one of them noticed us and left, and the other hailed the mother and daughter, then me. She offered us all a drive to our cars.
So we chatted as she drove and she gave us all "Honorary Citizen of Disney" buttons, and an "Honorary Citizen" paper award. I had her put my hubby's name on the paper certificate since he couldn't come with me.
She dropped me off first at the top of the row where my car was. I thanked her and said my goodbyes and walked to my car, still in a happy haze at what at transpired in the last 15 minutes.
Two seperate CMs made my Disney experience that much better.

My Favorite memory was on October 15,2008. My girlfriend and I had originally planned a 3day 2 night cruise out of Ft Lauderdale for Oct 15th-17th, but the cruise was canceled due to the recent hurricane in Texas. The ship was asked to relocate to Galveston for use as temporary housing. We were disappointed but were given a full refund. So My girlfriend( who likes Disney but hasn't been a million times like I have)knowing that I was a huge Disney fan suggested a trip to Walt Disney World instead !!! I had planned to propose to her on the cruise but now I would do it in WDW!! What could be better? So I started planning and scheming, Disney has so many possibilities! After much research for some ideas, I decided on proposing on the beach at the Polynesian Resort with a great view of the "Wishes" fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom.
We only planned one day in a park and that would be Epcot on our second day. So on our arrival day I surprised her with staying at the "POP Century" resort instead of offsite as she had thought was the plan. Then I told her that I wanted to take her to dinner at "Boma" but was unable to secure an Advance Dining Reservation (which was the truth) so if we wanted to eat there I thought the best thing was to be there at 4:30PM when they opened and hope for the best. Well that plan worked and we were seated in less than 10 minutes! When we left the place was packed with a herd of people at the host stand waiting to get in. Now... what to do between 5:30 and 9 when Wishes starts? Well I took her on a whirlwind tour of "The World" we rode buses, boats, and monorails went to all 4 parks without entering them and a few resort hotels all the while telling her we had to be somewhere by 9 PM for a surprise. Well we made it to the beach, found a front porch style swing set up in the sand (thanks Disney), and I told her we were just here to watch the fireworks (she bought it) so we snuggled and just a while before the fireworks started I hear an amplified "ALOOOOOOO-HA" I didn't know about the dinner show being so close to the beach spot ... but I was determined so we stayed, listened to the corny show and watched the fireworks. When the fireworks were over she thanked and kissed me and got up to go, I told her to sit down for just another minute, then (GULP!!) I explained that the fireworks show was called "Wishes" and I did make a wish on those shooting stars and she could make my wish come true, I got down on one knee there in the sand and proposed and all she could say was "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh" then a "YES!!!!" then some more "Oh my gosh's"
So even with not going with our original cruise plan, not being able to get an ADR for Boma, and having an annoying dinner show accompany our romantic time on the beach, I created our own "Magic Moment" and now have a wonderful beautiful fiancé.

Sitting outside under a cloudless, starry night at Fort Wilderness, watching The Lion King at the campfire program (I got to do this back in November of '99).

My most favorite moment by far was when a friend and I got stuck on Space Mountain with the lights on. It's one of those rare things that you just can't get anytime...so much fun for a Disney geek like me.

My favorite Disney moment actually occured this last trip. I actually did the VISA meet and greet at Innoventions and as I was walking in I saw Minnie, she was amazing. However I looked behind and saw a very real looking Goofy Statue...turns out it wasn't a statue. After scaring me senseless Goofy and I got along fabulously. Then he asked me to dance and I of course was elated. The best part he dipped me without me having a clue as to what he was going to do. I was laughing hysterically and I have the photopass pictures that have the look of pure happiness on my face to prove it LOL!

My favorite Disney moment was when my husband and I were staying at the Wilderness Lodge on our last trip. We like to go swimming at night when hardly no one is in the pool after a long day at the parks. I swam by where the water feeds into the pool and put my arms on the edge and just stared up at the beauty of the Wilderness Lodge and reflected how lucky I truly am. It was a great moment and my favorite of all of my trips to WDW.
