Best Nighttime Entertainment At Any Park
Okay, so I was watching a video on Youtube of BraviSEAmo and was curious what people thought was the best nighttime show at any of the Disney parks. And of course it's excluding holiday shows. My vote was for Remember, but it's probably because it's the best that I've seen in person.

I don't know the name of the show, but it's the current fireworks show at Disneyland. It might be "Remember" It HAS to been seen from The Hub as there's fireworks that shoot all around you. The upgraded Tinkerbell is fantastic. Also, I'm sure I'm biased as well because the best part is when the music plays audio from each of the lands. People keep raving about Illuminations, on my January visit to WDW I wasn't that impressed, especially compared to the Disneyland fireworks.

Of those choices - so hard to choose - but I selected Fantasmic. Now if you listed Christmas Wishes that they hold during MVMCP I'd have selected it. 8)

Have to say Fantasmic in Disneyland is my favorite. I love it, it just has better props than the one in WDW. I also love the fact that you can view it from almost anywhere in New Orleans Square, my favorite land.

I have to agree with you there, sub. The DL fireworks experience is very immersive. Epcot's lagoon is too huge to provide the same feeling.subsonic wrote:It HAS to been seen from The Hub as there's fireworks that shoot all around you. The upgraded Tinkerbell is fantastic. Illuminations is OK, but the globe in the lake is pretty small (relative to the size of the lake and considering the distance everyone is from it) and the fireworks aren't as impressive as the new DL show. DL can't top the laser-projections on Spaceship Earth, but that's not even part of the real show.
I haven't seen the WDW version of Fantasmic!, but from what I've heard, you lose the immersive experience of the DL version there as well. To me, the comfort and improved sightlines you get from the stadium seating don't off-set the coolness of a show taking place right in the middle of the park. (I might change my mind if I were sitting with group of unhappy kids stuck behind a tree or a post, however.)
This all has more to do with DL's lack of space than anything else, but whatever the reason, the results speak for themselves.

I did too! I mean, you don't have wait around for it in order to get a good seat for it, the fireworks are awesome, as well as the music.... it never gets old for me.csquare77 wrote:I'm saying I like "Reflections of Earth" the best, I dunno maybe I have a soft spot for Epcot.
Oh, and you can hold your BEER while watching it!

I know I wrote Fantasmic, but Reflections of Earth (Illuminatios) is a close second. The only thing bad about both shows.....You leave the park when your done!! WAAAA!!!

I haven't seen any of the shows that are out of this country, so I'll have to go with either Fantasmic! at DLR or Wishes! at WDW.
Illuminations is good too, but that globe is just too far into the lagoon for me to really appreciate.
Personally, while I love Remember...., I'm a little tired of it. The finale for it, is a bit of a let-down as well.

Hmmmmmmmmmm Seems from the CURRENT poll that Reflections of Earth is WINNING! GO EPCOT! I just want to reiterate that it's just an all around cool show. The music gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
I also love the way the different pavillions light up too.

Fantasmic at Disneyland (even after 15 years) is still the best show around. In my opinion it is not about the fireworks or effects but the quality of the theatrical event. the Story arc and direction are perfectly put together. WDW's version has a long period of bubbles that just ruins the flow for me. Also, peter pan is way cooler than mulan. I have only seen bravesimo on video because when I was there is broke down after 30 seconds. I was disappointed
