It was an interactive exhibit in Innoventions but it only lasted a month or so. It opened in February 2012, and closed in March 2012. I never got to see it, but it sounded like people thought it was too "preachy" on nutrition, and focused too much on people's weight and singled out overweight people.

Here is a link with pictures and a nice summary of the attraction.

Just located another link that indicates it has reopened a few weeks ago with some changes ~ http://www.wdwinfo.com/news/Theme_Parks ... ntions.htm
EDIT: After Wizz's comment, I did some more checking and the initial exhibit was indeed open/closed in 2012 ~ so much for not being more thorough in fact checking  Sorry

PLus, here is a link to a youtube video of the exhibit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GmMYrquR6A ~ It has a running time of about 20 minutes...

Ah, it sounded like they gave up (illogical but plausable if it meant too great a change), it actually was 2012, so it basically took a year to "fix" it.

Having watched the whole video ~ it definitely looks like it would be a lot more fun for the younger set. I can see my 9 year old nephew having a blast here...the little bracelets at the end are a cute souvenir :D

They also apparently re-used tech from Toy Story Midway Mania, and are sponsored by health insurance companies.

That just reminded me of why Wonders of Life may never have a 2.0 pavillion. Aside from the established stuff like how it gets dated fast, lower number of visitors than a website, too expensive, etc. There is also a legal aspect, apparently health insurance companies can only have a small percentage of their income be used on non-health care related expenses, which would include sponsoring a pavillion.

Good article ~ explains it quite well. I like the one person's opinion that it could be moved to the old Wonders of Life pavilion. That could be a starter exhibit. And I bet people would still ride Body Wars if they reactivated that!

Getting people to ride a ride isn't hard, getting them to come away with a positive response of "I want to do it again" is critical. I have a feeling most would come away with "What the hell was that?" and "Man, that was dated"

They would obviously have to update the film, but I think people would find it interesting.

They would have to completely re-do Body Wars for me to ride it. That was the first-ever "simulator" type attraction I had ever experienced, and I can guarantee I did NOT want to do it again. Can you say QUEASY? Ick. They would need to bring in whatever system is used in Star Tours, which is much easier on the motion-sick-prone like me.

I know I'm a weirdo, but I actually LIKE educational exhibits and films. I would love to see Epcot go back to being all about learning, innovation, and the cool things that realistically lie ahead. But alas, my fellow Americans in large part don't share my enthusiasm or hunger for knowledge.

I think I'd like Epcot to be more about learning too Cy1229!! It would go more with the theme of Epcot!! :)

Wow...that looked EXTREMELY boring, preachy, and doesn't really belong in EPCOT in my opinion. Who needs that crap on vacation?! Kind of leads me to understand why it may be difficult to come up with attractions for the Wonders of Life pavillion

Yup, the last link is a youtube video of the current version. It might be something I would try once, but it definitely looks like it is aimed more toward the under 12, or maybe even 10, set.

"Boring"... "Crap"? That would make it a perfect addition to EPCOT back when it opened. :D After all, that is what it was famed for.
