Yup ~ believe someone also mentioned that perhaps if there was a teeny, tiny fire in the Imagination Pavilion, perhaps they would restore it to it's former glory?? Ahhh, we can dream anyhow...not about a fire, but bringing back the good Imagination...sigh.

Well, when the sponsor's stock is trading at a price so low that you can buy a controlling interest with the change in your pocket, I don't think they are going to focus on theme park rides. :D

Seems like I heard about that.. But after that I heard nothing else about it.. I wanna say it was up on the second floor.. Apparently they use the space up there for storage and occasionally small meetings. There was one website that had a couple of pics stealthily taken up there. I wish I could remember where that was..

Unfortunately it looks like that is just a rumor, sadly.

I would like toontown back at wdw!!I don't understand why they couldn't have included it in the fl expansion!! It wouldn't have been that hard to build around it. I know to some Toontown wasn't exciting, but it's one of the only things about wdw that I remembered from my trip as a 4 year old there.I liked seeing where Mickey and Minnie "lived"!!! :mickey: I also liked seeing it when we went on our first family trip there in 2010!!

It does seem like they could have somehow included Mickey and Minnie's houses in Fantasyland. I think that was fun for kids to see where they lived :D

Interestingly enough, our yearly trip in Feb coincided with the last day that Toontown was open.. Of course it was PACKED but we went in and I must have shot 100-200 pics of just toontown so I would remember it. And then we took a trip round the MK on the train and I got some pics of the walls that they had put up. It was kinda surreal but you felt like you were a part of history, literally.

Wow!! I'd like to see those pictures sometime!! I don't know why I enjoyed toontown so much but I really miss it. My daughter thought it was neat too,we were just talking about it the other day saying how much we'll miss seeing it on our next trip!!

I am looking through my pics... I see about 60 pics of toontown I have labeled as 02/11/11 .. can anyone confirm that that is the last day it was open? if not I need to keep searching though my pics.. a daunting task.

Yeah, with all the times we have been there, we really haven't been there for any big milestones or events like this.. so it was interesting.. I remember when it used to be mickey's television land, or whatever it was called.. It was never my favorite land but it had its highlights.

I would change back to Horizon's, World of Motion, The original Living Seas, re-open The Wonders of Life, bring back Honey I shrunk the Audience, and put back Jeremy Irons in Spaceship Earth instead of the dumbed down version with Judy Dench! I guess I would change just about everything in EPCOT Future World back to it's original glory! :D

You mean "almost original" since Irons was the 3rd host, the first was Vic Perrin, then Walter Cronkite. :D

But we really enjoy Test Track and Mission Space. Would there be a way to keep those?

if you get rid of soarin, then you have the property link to FW that the great movie ride was supposed to go... you could then break that into two paths for tt(in the old showcase area) and MS
