How about the prices? I would also go back to the days of park and resort exclusive stuff. Now it's all generic, I mean if you buy a plastic drink mug. it's the same no matter where you buy it.

I know, they are just so generic...

At DLR, at least, the drinking/popcorn containers don't look that generic. They are usually relevant to whatever ride is nearby. So, for example, while HMH is running, the popcorn cart and one of the counter service places nearby serves food in Jack Skellington coffins.

I always wondered if the main actor's appearance on the sex offender registry made the want to kill the ride even faster?

Jeffery Jones (the guy from various shows and movies such as Ferris Bueler's Day off), who was a central character in the story was convicted for solicitation of a 14 year old boy and for posession of child porn (in 2002), he was then busted in 2004 and 2010 for failing to update the sex offender registry. Out of all of this he never got prison time.

With MJ, it was different because he was never convicted.

Well I figured that wasn't about MJ but I didn't know about the whole Jeffrey Jones thing.. Thats sad and creepy... Thanks for telling me.. time to google for more info..

Just for reference, the ride closed shortly after the trial started (less than a month). While Disney never stated that it was the reason, and most people forgot about it 2 weeks after the inital arrest, they probably had a good feeling he was going to get convicted.
