Some of these programs or similar ones run on the HD channels and are awesome! I've been spoiled by HD, can't get enough!! I did catch the cruise line show, which was nicely updated from the one of a few years ago.

I just found this topic. I watched them all and recorded some of them. Excellent shows. I loved the Wilderness Lodge show and the cruise show. I didn't know much about the Disney cruise but it looks awesome.

seems like Disney day on the Travel Channel today (9/18/08). from about 2 PM (Eastern) until about 9 PM (with the exception of 5-6. they're doing something on Seaworld then), it's all Disney park stuff.

I watched it, I loved seeing all the previews at the end for the new Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary. It was a good DVC special.

Disney shows are on the Travel channel right now for those who want to ring in the new year with disney. I've heard rumors that they will have fireworks at midnight... don't know if that is true. However, there is a cool show on at 11... so be sure to check that out!!!

Disney Cruise line, Disney on a Dime, and a Samantha Brown show...

Grr, I missed the shows since I had been helping my best friend's sister move but I hope to find out the next time they come on.

I recoreded it and the shows are in fact re-runs. However, at the stroke of midnight, there were New Years fireworks from Magic Kingdom. I don't know if it was this year's fireworks liv, or ones from a previous year.

I missed the New Years Day shows, but there were showing Disney stuff all night on New Year's Eve. I watched hours of it, up to about 2 minutes till midnight, when I turned it over to the ball dropping.

We just got HD with DirecTV. The Travel Channel is not in HD. :-(

What channel(s) are they broadcasting (in HD) Disney park stuff on?

that's surprising that you can't get Travel Channel HD. We got Verizon FiOS TV a couple of months ago and, though we don't have an HDTV or order the HD part of the service, we could get TravelHD. it's definately out there.

as for other channels broadcasting in HD, I'm not sure there are (m)any.

As far as I know, the Travel Channel is the only channel that is broadcasting the full range of shows, since they are Travel Channel shows.. I have not heard of ABC or the Disney Channel broadcasting any of them. Unfortunatly I think you may be out of luck until the TC decides to go to HD.. But with the way HD is going, I am willing to bet it won't be long. Everyone seems to be getting on the bandwagon.
