What is your favorite use of audio-animatronics?

Lucky the Dinosaur was my fave. To bad he was only here for a short time.

its a small world ride and splash mountain have the best audio-animatronic effects!

Traditionally speaking, it is definitely Pirates of the Caribbean. But more recently, there is a certain terrifying creature located in Expedition Everest. This almost tops them all for sheer amazement.

I haven't been on the ride, but saw the videos on a Travel Channel special. The Yeti looks absolutely amazing! The motions are so lifelike and unbelievably quick. The quickness of it is really what surprises me, not really fast broad movements (which have been done before), but quick twitches this way and that. amazing!

The witch from The Wizard of Oz in the Great Movie Ride is very realistic in both looks and movement.

Agree 100%. I was just going to post that, when I read your comment. So, I'll have to pick the Dick Van Dyke character (Bert the chimney sweep) from Mary Poppins in the Great Movie Ride.

I would have to say Pirates, the Yeti from Expedition Everest, the witch from Oz, and Abraham Lincoln from Hall of Presidents.

My favorite is the Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love Push the Talking Trashcan at DL, but he is probably considered a robot rather than an audio animatronic.

Every time I go there I never see him! Is there some sort of schedule or is it a spontaneous event to when he comes around?

Yeti on EE. I was thinking Lucky the Dinosaur, too, but I've never seen him in real life - just on TV. Where is he now, anyway?
