Strollers, require an age limit?

Rude people with strollers are rude people without them. They're the ones that run into you with a stroller and not apologize. But, they're also the ones that jump lines, etc. without a second thought. Stroller or not, rude people are going to let their presence be known.

I don't think there should be an age limit. Far be it from me to tell parents what their kids can handle at any given age. When we went to Disney last September, we did 4 parks in 4 days, so you better believe that I used a stroller at EPCOT! There is so much walking involved and, with the heat, I encouraged my youngest to sit in it (which she did at times, while drowning her face with a misty fan). And, I got a double stroller so we could load our stuff in it.

I saw one of those double ones. inside there was a ten year old and a seven year old. The double ones take up to much room, and the parents don't pay attention.

they are exactly like hummers of main street if you think of it, they waste space and they make everyone else move slower.

I can stand parents having strollers, but they have to be within reason. THIS IS WDW/DL/DLP/TDL/HKDL not the park around the corner were you have 20ft between you and your closest neighbor. We are all tightly packed trying to get to rides and attractions, don't block me with your extra large stroller.

I am seriously not trying to be difficult. I am just curious...what is the difference for you between:

and

The second one has a cover that slides over it to keep the kid out of the elements and a car seat that I would assume snaps into the stroller like the Graco seats do.

The first one is slightly more compact, but that's about it, I would think.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. There are many, many times that some people with strollers become the bane of my existence, but they would be that way even without the stroller.

I agree you just have to let those rude people roll on by and not ruin your day.
It isn't just people with strollers I was clipped in the heel by a guy pushing a woman in a wheel chair during the crowded walk trying to get to Fantasmic. It really hurt and when I looked back at him he just glared at me like I had done something wrong. I just kept on walking to Fantasmic and never looked back again.

My daughter is not an infant, she is 3 and we bring our stroller to the parks. It is fairly small, but to ask a 3 year old to walk all over the resorts and parks is completely unreasonable. The issue here is not the strollers it is the people using them.

If you bring a stroller, please use common courtesy and respect for your fellow fans.

The first one can fold flat right? Now that second one how do you fold that flat? You have to take the basket out and carry that separately and then you can fold the frame flat. So that takes up what two seats on the bus instead of one? The complaint about this second one was less of the moving through the parks but more of the "you are hogging three seats madam or sir". But I do have to admit that the second stroller also looks longer than the first.

Yeah, I see your point. I don't really understand why anyone would bother with the car seat at Disney World. The baby or child can be in the stroller just the same as in the car seat, and it's not like you are going to take the car seat out and carry it around somewhere. Just leave it in the car and transfer the child from the stroller to the car seat for the duration of your trip.

Empathy is a virtue. Like I said before, I would never impose restrictions on parents or family members that feel they need a stroller, wheelchair, scooter, etc. I think most people that are using them truly feel that they need them.

. I agree with most people that there should be an upward age limit on strollers, somewhere around 9 or 10 (4th or 5th grade). If you still insist that your child not walk around the park, then you should bring your own form or transportation, but that would open up a whole other bag of issues, so maybe I should just keep quiet...
