"The boys in the back are comic-caws!
Beacuse of their claws??
No because their macaws!!!"
That line is classic in The Enchanted Tiki Room!

Sometimes the bluest part of the sky seems so far away from us, I guess thats what keeps us striving for it...

I remembered another one of my favorites yesterday (whilst listening and giggling quietly at work):
"What journey is complete without a brief moment in the English countryside with a man named Trevor? Hello Trevor! Take care! ...we're heading toward that aqueduct.."
I don't know why, but it makes me giggle every time.

I'm very partial to the Maelstrom quotes. Especially: "dissapear, dissapear", "back, back, over the falls" and "novay has alvays been, vill alvays be..."
I think it's cause i like the accent...
I also enjoy the Soarin' preshow a lot!
Oh no...and I forgot...the song Big Al sings in Country Bear's "there was blood on the sadle and blood all around. and a great big puddle of blood on the ground"!
I'll never get tired of that!

*giggles* That 'back back, o-ver the falls!' thing ... there was a substantial period of time where my mom and I would both say that whenever we were reversing in the car.Stardust wrote:I'm very partial to the Maelstrom quotes. While I do love Big Al's tune as well, the #1 hit song from the Jamboree has to be....Stardust wrote:Oh no...and I forgot...the song Big Al sings in Country Bear's "there was blood on the sadle and blood all around. and a great big puddle of blood on the ground"!
"Maaaaama don't whup little Buforrrrd...
Maaama don't pound on his heaaad...
Maaaaaama don't whup little Buforrrrd...
I think you should shoot him instead!
Bang!"

Like I just don't get that kind of [southern?]humor. It's interesting to hear people laugh at it nonetheless.
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."
Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Oh, okay then. I just don't find it funny, more like amusing/almost disturbed is more like it.spaulo wrote:I don't think it's Southern humor necessarily... my family is from California and Ohio, and we laugh our asses off at that song.

I still find it interesting that in parks where pirates can't chase the ladies anymore (a change which continues to annoy me to this day), no one's ever raised a fuss over the discussion of how to assault poor lil' Buford.spaulo wrote:While I do love Big Al's tune as well, the #1 hit song from the Jamboree has to be....Stardust wrote:Oh no...and I forgot...the song Big Al sings in Country Bear's "there was blood on the sadle and blood all around. and a great big puddle of blood on the ground"!

The Bears wouldn't be the same without the bizarre folksy songs though; those are my two favorites.
Beaker nailed it! That skier in Soarin' cracks me up every single time.
I also like when the Star Tours pilot... aka. Pee Wee Herman says "... and I'm still getting used to my programming".
How about the cheesiest line? In Great Movie Ride, the narrator says in a super serious voice... "This is Alien, you are with Sigorney Weaver aboard the space ship Nostromo". Duh!
