When ever I go to any of the parks I get handfuls of the maps and put them in my room. I have all the maps from 1995 - 2006 and my mom let me have her old 1974 map and her almost empty ticket book  Does anyone else follow this trend?

I collect them in many languages, one day I will learn a couple of them. I have some from every trip so far, and some special maps too. Like the MNSSHP, and the 50th day one out in DL. I will be getting them for the next two trips too.

I used to. I stopped after a while because I didn't need them. I did keep ones from the 50th anniversary and other special events.

I couldn't make it to the DLA on the 50th but a co-worker went to Disneyland and got it for me. I now have the 50th. I haven't made it to Disneyland in 6 years. I do collect Lithographs

I keep the park map for each of the WDW parks (except waterparks as I've never been to those). I used to love when the maps were printed on a weekly basis and had all the performers and performances listed for that week. made them a great collector's item that would commemorate your trip (give you dates and stuff). But, I can see how those would get expensive and potentially wasteful (they'd have to throw them out once the week is done and replace with the whole next week).

I also collect little things like napkins, the little soaps and shampoos from the hotel rooms, and all the little pamphlets from the local attractions that usually sit in the hotel lobbies, even if I do go to the other places...

I actually think there's a thread on cheap/free collectibles somewhere...

Yah we still have some old school maps where they only took up one page of the map not the whole thing, lol

I collect them too. I have ones that I mess up and use during the stay down there, and then towards the end of the trip i take new ones to put them in my scrap book.

;)

I definitely collect maps! They're so fun to look at when you get home (only when planning the next trip of course). Even more fascinating is to look at maps that are many years old and see how things have changed.

We collect maps for every visit, and pick up French and German versions for the kids to practice their foreign languages. We keep everything we pick up during our trips, so we just have bags of stuff waiting for me to organize it all into a scrapbook someday....
