What kind of special events have you celebrated at WDW/DL? What did you do to make it special/memorable?

best I could say is my 21st birthday. memorable moment are really few and far between cause I'm not big on fanfare. we were in EPCOT and as we walked around WS, my mom kept offering to buy me a drink in every country. I don't drink/eat anything with alcohol (I dispise the taste), but she kept pushing thinking it was funny. she made up for it when we ate at the restaurant next to the American Adventure (counter service place). she got the CM behind the counter to give me a slice of apple pie with alot of ice cream on it and a candle.

Easter was fun when they had the easter egg hunt and the candy, my God it was like a human vacuum the candy was picked up so quickly.

Ditto on the Honeymoon. My in-laws invited the whole family to celebrate my wife's mothers 60th birthday. We celebrated my daughters 5th birthday. New Year's Eve in 2003. The latest celebration was Valentine's Day 2006. My wife's favorite Disney animated film is Lady and the Tramp so we had a romantic (ok, well it could have been romantic if we didn't have two kids haning around) dinner at Tony's on Main Street. And guys you can score a lot of points if you get Mickey's personal florist to deliver a glass slipper to your hotel room on Valentine's Day.

I proposed to my wife in DL, then went to WDW for our honeymoon. It was her first trip to WDW and we had a great time. Haven't been back since. Planning to take our daughter in '08.

Well, 5/5/05 was a event to remember. I made plans for it way ahead before I even went to the park. So I consider it to be my special event. It was a lot of fun.
