On this last trip, we only stayed for three days, so laundry did pile up much.

The few times I've stayed longer than a week, I sometimes wash a few things. The only time I've used the laundry facilities on a shorter trip was when I spilled something I -knew- was going to stain and didn't want to have to put the shirt out to pasture.

Nope. Don't do laundry at home (isn't that what I had kids for is stuff like that?) so I'm not doing it on vacation either!

I have not used the laundry as of yet, but I will the next time we go because I don't have to take so much stuff with us this time. As for the swimsuit issue, I do take showers before and after I swim and I wouldn't use the washers to wash my suit everyday, but one a week I do even though I rinse it out after I swim anway. I think it still needs a good washing at least once a week.

I try to pack enough clothes so we don't have to mess with laundry. However, with two grandchildren 4 and 6, it's nice to know the facilities are there just in case.

Always go for two weeks, always use the laundry at the end of each week and always take my own detergent. :)

Shove it in the washer when I get in at night.
Shove it in the drier and wander off for a drink. :D
Grab it before bed time.

Wrinkled clean clothes are OK.

I'm on vacation + rest and relaxation = no laundry!!!

I supposed if I were ever lucky enough to get two full weeks at WDW, I might take advantage of the laundry facility. :mickey:

Doing laundry depends on how long we stay. On our last two trips, we had to do laundry at Pop Century simply to avoid have a bazillion checked bags of clothes.

i think we've only used the laundry once or twice for swimsuits over the years.

the most we go in one spurt is about 10 days, so we just bring enough clothing. we're not big water park/swimming people so 2 swimsuits each usually is fine (and you can always rinse them in the shower). if we were going for 2 weeks or more, we might do some laundry.

We always go for 1 week and its Thursday to Wednesday that leaves 4 days to worry about it

heh, i hardly sleep while there anyway so...

usually one night, in the middle of the trip (or ever 4 days, depending on how long we are gone) I will go down at 1am or so and have a few relaxing hours blogging on the laptop while doing laundry.

For longer trips, we certainly do laundry. But for shorter trips, we take enough clothes for every day.

Several folks above said "heck no, I'm on vacation." I'm sure my wife feels the same way. So, I do the laundry on vacation to help make her trip more relaxing. She does the laundry at home, but I also try to help out with cooking, cleaning, dishes, etc. at home.

Most of the laundry facilities are by the pool, so I combine doing the laundry with a trip to the pool for the family. Now, if we had a pool at home (and 80 degree temps in March), I'd do the laundry a lot more often at home.
