Ok, so in the "Things you shouldn't have done in the parks" thread Sub mentioned that he's got some stories about what he had busted people for doing while he was a Cast Member. I was wondering if any of the Former Cast Members would like to share with us some stories about some of the things you guys have busted people for in the parks. I bet ya'll have some great stories. I'll sit back and listen.

Or maybe not even busted but just really strange/weird or funny guest stories (if I may add that onto jrcohen's post without making an entirely new thread?)

Well, this is not a guest story per se... I had just completed a lock-out demonstration at the Living Seas (~Jul-Aug 1995), when a guest a came up to my fellow (dry) castmember. The guest was having an allergic reaction and had a rash over a good portion of their body. As it was a non-life threatening allergic reaction (no swelling of the throat), I volunteered to escort them to First Aid. So, in a 7 mm wetsuit, in the 100 degree heat, I walked them to First Aid (behind the Odessy Restaurant). On the way back, I was overheating so I stopped at one of the drink carts and requested a cup of ice. The castmember was nice enough to give me one which I promptly dumped down the front (inside) of my wetsuit. I then handed her the cup back and asked her to toss it for me (the garbage can was on her other side). After she stopped staring at my actions, she went ahead and threw the cup away.
So how often do you see people deliberately dumping ice down the inside of their clothes (or wetsuit)?

Oh man, that's not the weirdest thing I hear about wetsuits... my friends here in California go SCUBA diving... in the frigidly-cold Pacific... the things they do in those suits to keep warm... ewwwww....

Funny. How often do you see someone in a wetsuit just walking around a theme park?

Probably never for me. What a sight.
I've got one out-of-the norm one.
I was going about my business and had the radio with me, so I could hear all the showkeeping(custodial) radio calls at MGM. Then one call comes up for a BBP(blood-born pathogen) clean-up at the end of Commissary Lane near where the DVC stand is.
As it turns out- a squirrel was run over by a ECV. At first I thought it was a joke, because squirrels can dart around pretty fast, and an ECV is pretty slow. But no- the person who called it in was serious, although you could hear her try not snicker at the absurdity of it.
So I get there, cuz I'm curious, and all I can see is three of my co-workers standing there, cleaning up a lot of blood. I ask if they were for real, and it wasn't a joke. One starts laughing and says it was so sad, cuz the squirrel didn't die right away X_X
Well I guess you would have to have been there

Come on lets hear some of the good stories you can Write! We had a friend who has been with Disney for about 17 years. I could start a forum with just his story.
One of his funniest was when he was working with datacom. He was working in Canada on a cash register and a lady walked in a looked him in the face and in a very load voice said she needed some "HARD SUCKING CANDY!!". He said he looked at the other CM (guy) working in the shop grinned and almost had to run out of the store. He said it was the quickest he ever made it back stage.
To quote him"You could have heard me laughing over the fireworks!!" He thinks the CM working in the store most have passed out.

ok - hree's a Disney/Pixar related story...
I was supervising Suncoast Motion Picture stores when Toy Story was being released to the theaters. The store I was in was very busy, and shipment had just arrived. I decided to keep the employees working, while I began to unpack and stock from the back of the store (which was about 900 square feet and had about as many customers - although many of their feet were round, not square). The assistant store manager was working the register when she noticed that I was unpacking Toy Story characters. Since they were THE hot item of the holiday, she wanted to make sure I put one aside for her. She excused herself for a second, propped herself on the counter, and yelled through the crowded store: "If you get a Woody, it's mine!"

That's awesome; I'm going to send it to my friend and remind her of that story. The funny part is that it's been 11 years since the incident - maybe I'll wait and send it to her next year.
