Longest Wait Time
Moderator: Moderators
My longest wait on any Disney line in my life came on my most recent trip in August, when on the last day, my girlfriend absolutely, no questions asked, had to ride Peter Pan. We already had Space Mountain fastpasses, so we had to wait standby for about 65 minutes, which was SLOWLY KILLING me, since it was our last day and there was so much I wanted to do.
I waited 90 minutes for Soarin'. Fortunately for me, I was spending time with this beautiful Brazilian so the wait didn't seem long. The ride itself was also quite amazing.
By myself the longest I waited was 45 minutes for Everest during its preview runs before the grand opening in April of 2006. Worth every minute.

We normally don't wait in long lines, but last week my family insisted that we wait in line for Soarin'. We were "park hopping," so we didn't get to Epcot until mid-afternoon, and all the FP's were gone. We waited 90 minutes, and though it was a long wait, it was worth it.
Hey, I just noticed that I got a promotion! I'm now a Main Street Cinema Projectionist!!
And my boss thinks I'm wasting time today at work.

I waited for Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin for about 90-120 minutes, but it was broken. The CM's said we could wait in line for it but they didn't know when it would be up and running. So my brother and I waited in the queue and just took pictures of everything we could. Got some good pics of the track in normal light as well as show light.

First visit to WDW. Didn't know any better and waited at Splash Mountain for about 3 hours. It was a couple of years before fastpass was introduced. I wouldn't wait now if the que is longer than half an hour .

About 10 years ago I was down @ WDW for a company seminar. We were able to go to Magic Kingdom for 1/2 a day. It was very hot that day so we went for Splash Mountain. We ended up getting on 2 hrs later. This was pre-fastpass and my friend had never been on SM. Looking back we should have bailed on that and taken advantage of more of the park. That was the only thing we did while we were there.

90 minutes the first week of Crush's coaster opening in Walt Disney Studios, Paris, june 2007. I hope they will add fastpass because every time I went there it was 45-60 minutes (and others attractions 15 minutes lol)
Christmas day, 1994 or 1995 I don't remember exactly, my parents waited 2 hours for POTC (Disneyland Paris)!

50 minutes for Space Mountain was exceptional for us. 30 mins and up usually has us heading elsewhere. The longest ever anywhere was for Rita at Alton Towers the year it opened. They had NOTHING to entertain you during the wait. The TV screens weren't in operation. Disney queues are so much better than other queues!!
1980, 2000, 2005 and 2008 all had plenty of magic. Hoping for a bit more in 2010.
