Which haunted mansion is better? Disneyland or Disney World?

I have not been to WDW in years but I think I preferred the Land version.

I hadn't been to Disneyland to see the updated attic scene until recently. I thought the effects were amazing.

Well, the WDW HM is scheduled for a large upgrade soon. I'm willing to bet that the effects currently at DLR will be put into WDW's

it's actually in rehab right now. I think it started Monday, if I'm not mistaken...

Much as it pains me to say it, Disneyland at the moment. That's not going to be true anymore in a few months, though. Bring this poll back up when the refurb is done.

I like them both and appreciate the differences. I hear the changes to WDW HM are going to be a big improvement in quality, and to fill up that space with the spider.

Im going to say WDW because they are both really very similar and Im just more of a WDW guy so thats my opinion

I'm gonna have to say I enjoy WDW's better. The exterior of the mansion is a lot creepier and tends to set the mood better. I also like the addition of the library scene, which was missed when we rode DLR's version.

Although, I must admit that the effects in the DLR mansion are amazing. Hopefully these upgrades will be brought to Florida during the refurb.

Hi again. I know this sounds like a cop-out but I DO like both HMs equally and without regret. Although MK's Mansion is larger in area and recently got some good upgrades there is something about DL's that gives you more of a sense of claustrophobia, (especially on crowded days), that fits in perfectly with the 'spooky' atmosphere. Anyway, I guess there has to be SOME differences between the two or else we'd never have a reason to visit both parks, right? Later, peace.

I like the building at DL better..it's the origional.. The ride at WDW is better I believe. But there both outstanding I love the Cptn Nemo orgin in the ballroom at DL.

I like the DL one better because they do the Jack Skellington - Nightmare Before Christmas theming around the holidays. I wish they'd bring that to WDW.

I liked how the floor dropped in DL, but I like the entrance and how you go through the Attic in WDW and WDW's seemed a little longer. I would say I like WDW's haunted house a little better.

Oh yea....haunted mansion holiday is sooo awesome!! I think im gonna go down to DL tonight to give it a ride or two. Oh the joy of being an AP holder!!
