Donalds1Fan wrote:Sorry folks, that was a bad one. I should've asked who was the voice of Donald for most of the film. And now I can't even find the document on my computer that I had saved months ago that listed the lines/cartoons. It was published in the Ultimate Guide to WDW book and discussed a lot on the 'net amongst Donald fans. Apologies for the bad question. I'm still a newbie at this.

Ducky Nash did all of the dialogue for PhilharMagic by way of the old cartoon archives. Cartoons included "Good Scouts." Tony Anselmo, the current voice, did the Beauty & the Beast segment where Donald hums along to "Be Our Guest."

New question (again, tell me if this has already been asked): Who is the voice of Big Al in Country Bear Jamboree?

So the guy that did Donalds voice was named Ducky??? Too funny!!! :donald:

Correct! Anyone who wants to can take the next question then.

And yup, yodiwan1. His real name was Clarence Nash, but most people called him Ducky. He had that nickname even before Walt hired him to voice Donald. :D

Here's an easy one for the weekend:

What are the three things that are prohibited at Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I am not sure about feeding the animal.... I know you can't ...but if the question is specific to AK...then feeding the animals is not a good answer simply because you can't do that in all the park.

But it is probably me that is too specific...and I think you got it right!

It can't be straws because they now have straws in AK (essentially cardboard straws, but straws nonetheless).

So it has to be lids for cups and two other things. Although I have no clue what they might be. I'd say no feeding the animals for the second thing, but can't you do that at Affection Section?

I don't know which three items you are referring to, but this is an excerpt of the published prohibited items in Animal Kingdom:

Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
Alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind
Folding chairs
Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
Pets (unless they are service animals)

In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

Maybe you are referring to the last three?

JimB, you were the one who got the answers I was looking for, although I didn't know that they started adding straws. It must have been recently because in June straws were still not permitted.

I guess plastic straws are still not permitted, but as far as I'm concerned, they are the only types of straw because those cardboard ones make my drinks taste weird.

Don't forget, these items are what you may not bring INTO the parks. Once inside the parks, Disney has full control of what may be obtained. At any rate, let someone else have a chance to post a trivia question. Maybe someone who would like to post a question but hasn't won a turn?

In downtown Disney, there is a huge lego store. Surrounding it, they built huge model of lego. What model is in the water? (quite easy tho)

do you mean the AK question (what 3 items are prohibited)? That was answered by JimB:
In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

I was at AK at the end of May and they did in fact have straws (cardboard though). I'm one of those people who doesn't like drinking a soda without a straw, so it was a happy day to me, LOL. Here's a pic from Pizzafarri, in case anyone is like me. They weren't bad at all compared to some other biodegradable straws I've tried.
