I am probably way off, but I figured it was worth a try.
Legend of the Lion King was in soft opening/preview there for 3 or 4 months before it was moved to the Magic Kingdom. Got that tidbit from someone who saw it there... they said it was just in test, and cast members approached people to ask if they wanted to see a new show.
You're up.

see, while I feel that bit of trivia is good...you say you "heard it from someone". I feel trivia should be something where the facts can be checked. Not heresey. What if this person had it confused with something else? Just my 2 cents, and I feel it is pretty cool, but something like that, has no backing besides "what h/she said".Am I making sense?

I agree with you when it's not people you know/trust, I guess. Random internet trivia I would avoid unless you saw it yourself. I don't think the person in question was confused, or I wouldn't have used it.

Holy Cow! Now that was a surprise. I was just trying to guess what would fit into that area. The closest I could think of was Legend of Lion King...rather similar to Muppets and Mermaid in that it uses the "puppet"-like animatronics.
Anyhow, here's what I'll put forward as the next question:
It's a three parter:
1) According to Disney Legend, who's namesake is bestowed upon the recently closed Pleasure Island...I am looking for the full name.
2) According to the legend, where was this person originally from?
3) And finally, according to the legend, what kind of operation did this person have on this island?
If you all think this is too elaborate, let me know and I'll revise the question.
Good luck to all and have fun researching.

Are we there yet? When can we go back?
I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

I believe they use fake theatrical dust for this. Either that or they just haven't dusted it since 1971!
