Good riddance! Those subs always used to creep me out as a child and seeing them again still creeps me out.

Hey js - did you take the picture of the inside of the sub or did you find it on the internet somewhere? If you did take it, how did you get in there?

I think it a playground now. As for the signs, I was never around to see the attraction, so I can't tell what's left.

It's Pooh's Playful Spot and there is a not in the wood above the entrance to Pooh's house in the shape of a 20k sub.

That's an awesome picture. I might actually have to go over and look at the Playful Spot now. Never thought I'd have a reason to do that.

I must admit that I am not the one who spotted it. I found those pictures on a 20k tribute site. Someone else may post a trivia question, because I do not have one right now.

I've got one!

Here's a two-parter: What material are the thatched roofs in the UK pavillion really made out of and why is this?

no, I didn't that pic. I actually downloaded it from someone who had alot of WDW-based pics. I use them as desktop wallpapers. helps to bring back those good memories.

as for the current question, I believe that the thatched roofs are made of plastic broom bristles, cause the real thing would be a fire hazard (and with all the rain in FL, probably would leak like a sieve too...)

if right, I once again give it to someone else...
