Great pics, Alacrity! Do you have any more of the "artsy" close-ups of various objects? Those are my favorites! I love taking close-ups of the details on the art figurines, like this one for example:

I was going to save that one for a "where in the world" game, but I'll probably never get around to it anyway.

Is that in the Arribas' Brother store?

All I remember is that it was in a shop on Main Street (MK). I think it's the same one where the glass blower is working (can't remember the name....).

Yes, B-babe, I think you were there, actually!
Here's another "artsy" one (have I mentioned that I like those kinds of shots...?

Yup! Just missed a good shot of the actual fireworks themselves, but I thought the smoke trails looked cool too, so.....Amy wrote:Opening ceremony fireworks?

I hate when I just miss my shot. I tend to go through multiple stages of sadness, anger at myself, frustration at my equipment, acceptance, and then move on with my life. Nice job maintaining composure so you could get a good consolation photo.Mousekedude wrote:Yup! You're starting to worry me, Len... I'm thinking you know me way too well... But I really did think it was a pretty cool shot on its own merits...
