Re: Nap-worthy attractions
My guess is that we'll need to do a tally or rank the places so those in need of a nap in the future can have them for future references.

Good idea! I know my Mom was reading through this thread the other night and was saying "Oh! I never thought about taking a nap there!"elizabethswann wrote:My guess is that we'll need to do a tally or rank the places so those in need of a nap in the future can have them for future references.
Actually, looking back through all the posts,The Hall of Presidents, American Adventure, and Ellen are all in the running to be the most popular snoozing spot. Oddest place mentioned has to be Tower of Terror but I think they were just joking about that one

It's only a joke if they put "Just kidding" afterwards. Otherwise it's totally legit.
We should consult that database of "free outlets" at disney as well to see if there are places you can pass out and charge up your electronics.

I like that idea there. I don't know any (as far as I know) in DLR or DCA unless you're in a hotel room so anyone else can back me up there.Wizzard419 wrote:It's only a joke if they put "Just kidding" afterwards. Otherwise it's totally legit.

Listening to the request stream a minute ago I realized that I used to fall asleep (standing up mind you) while watching the Living Seas pre-show. Until the under water dinging woke me up!

Right, Amy. We find the boats to be very romantic.Amy wrote:I'm sure the Mousekecouple would count the boats as attractions...maybe I will have to treat Mom to a ride on one this trip and see if she deems it snooze-worthyWizzard419 wrote:If I downed some sleeping pills beforehand could I count Tower of Terror as a Nap Worthy attraction?
If it can be counted as an attraction I would say the boat from DHS to the hotels is a real snooze inducer, esp at night. It's so slow and deathly silent that you have to fight to stay awake.
Although I will admit that on one particularly long night ride from DD back to POR, we did doze a little bit. We were really tired from a long day, and hardly anyone else was on the boat with us, so we snuggled up on a bench and grabbed a couple quick winks.

Re: Nap-worthy attractions
I was just googling for the power outlets page I saw one time and apparently a CM requested the site's owner remove the outlet stuff. So if you find one keep it a secret I guess.

While it didn't sound like an official rep from Disney I would imagine the safety reason cited was based on people possibly tripping on cords. I know I've almost tripped a few times when people don't stay right on their outlets when using the airport's power.

Re: Nap-worthy attractions
I would think it would take more then just a CM's request to get someone to remove material from their web site. I would think it would take a Disney lawyer to get a judge to sign a court order. I just find it hard to believe that Disney could get common knowledge removed from the internet or the court order to do it. Disney isn't "THAT" powerful!elizabethswann wrote:Ooh, good to know that. I'm not sure if the guy had 'Teh Fearz' for Disney or what since he took it down after twitter posts.
