My very first ride at DisneyWorld was at EPCOT with my dad. We rode SpaceShip Earth and it has been one of my favorites ever since!! I loved loved it!

I would have to say my very first Disney ride was the ferry. As a 15 year old New Yorker, I thought how cool, they made the Staten Island ferry something to look forward to!
"Our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them" WED
"There's a fine prow on that steamer, let's climb aboard her!" Fireside
"You're off the map mateys..Here there be SeaMonsters!!"
The original "LICENSE MAYHEM MARAUDER!!

I remember my first three rides from when we went to DL when I was 4. I don't know what order I rode them in, only my memories of each one:
The Enchanted Tiki Room (not a ride, I know, but I loved the thunderstorm. It's totally magical for a child. How could it be raining inside but not outside?)
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (almost destroyed me for the entire visit. The scene with the judge and the devils terrified me, and I refused to go on it again until I was an adult.)
Pirates - my first favorite ride at Disney. I wanted to ride it again and again.
You know, thinking about Pirates and the OP's comment, it's hard for a first favorite ride not to be a very favorite ride. They stick like that.

I can't remember exactly my first ride at Disneyland, because I was very young...4 I think...but here are the ones I remember as a child...
Adventures thru Inner Space (I thought I would be shrunk forever)
Tiki Room (loved the birds!)
It's a Small World (apparently I drove my mother to craziness with that one)
POTC (hated the "waterfalls"...didn't go on it again til I was 16)
Motor Boat cruise (made my dad "drive"...thought I was gonna crash the boat)
MSEP (believe it or not, I was terrified of the snails/lightning bugs that come up to the people on the street)
I was a big fraidy cat! What can I say?

I don't know if it was my first ride or not but my Mom says that there was one time when we left WDW ( I think I was around 5 or 6) and I would cry and cry and cry because we didn't get to do Small World a 6TH time. yes - that's right - we would do it 5 times IN A ROW (according to my Mom) and I would cry because we didn't get to do it again. Yikes!
