I had to "go to the videotape" to confirm but my first rides at WDW were the monorail, Mission To Mars, a ride thru attraction that contained "The History Of Flight" and the Wedway people mover.

My first Disney ride was probably either the Disneyland Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Haunted Mansion. The first Disney ride that I fully remember with great detail was the Monorail.

Mine was It's A Small World. That was in 1997. We rode it at least 20 times on that trip (my mom says 11 time just on one day of our 10 day stay!) because my sister quickly became obsessed with it! To this day, that's about the only ride she will go on (she's now 16).

My very first ride at DisneyWorld was at EPCOT with my dad. We rode SpaceShip Earth and it has been one of my favorites ever since!! I loved loved it!

I would have to say my very first Disney ride was the ferry. As a 15 year old New Yorker, I thought how cool, they made the Staten Island ferry something to look forward to!

I remember my first three rides from when we went to DL when I was 4. I don't know what order I rode them in, only my memories of each one:

The Enchanted Tiki Room (not a ride, I know, but I loved the thunderstorm. It's totally magical for a child. How could it be raining inside but not outside?)

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (almost destroyed me for the entire visit. The scene with the judge and the devils terrified me, and I refused to go on it again until I was an adult.)

Pirates - my first favorite ride at Disney. I wanted to ride it again and again.

You know, thinking about Pirates and the OP's comment, it's hard for a first favorite ride not to be a very favorite ride. They stick like that.

I think I was 8. Disneyland Jungle Cruise was my first ride, and the gun shot caught me totally off guard :D

My first ride was the train. It was the first "train" I had ever been on and it was my first trip to the "Grand Canyon". It was also my first exposure to dinosaurs. So many memories! :mickey:

The first WDW ride for my son (5) and I (older than 5) was Dumbo. That was the best trip ever and it was in 1996!

I'm fairly sure mine was either the Tiki Room or Indiana Jones (as a 6 year old!). I remember the Tiki Room amused me, and Indy scarred me for years. I couldn't go on it again until I was 13.

I can't remember exactly my first ride at Disneyland, because I was very young...4 I think...but here are the ones I remember as a child...

Adventures thru Inner Space (I thought I would be shrunk forever)
Tiki Room (loved the birds!)
It's a Small World (apparently I drove my mother to craziness with that one)
POTC (hated the "waterfalls"...didn't go on it again til I was 16)
Motor Boat cruise (made my dad "drive"...thought I was gonna crash the boat)
MSEP (believe it or not, I was terrified of the snails/lightning bugs that come up to the people on the street)

I was a big fraidy cat! What can I say?

I don't know if it was my first ride or not but my Mom says that there was one time when we left WDW ( I think I was around 5 or 6) and I would cry and cry and cry because we didn't get to do Small World a 6TH time. yes - that's right - we would do it 5 times IN A ROW (according to my Mom) and I would cry because we didn't get to do it again. Yikes!

I need to check with my dad, but I have a feeling it's something in Fantasyland.

I would have to saw either the Haunted Mansion, Small World, or Dumbo. I don't remember for sure, I was only two or three, lol
