Maybe it was a Brazilian Tour Group?!

Well...it is January...which means there is a 90% chance there was at least one Brazilian Tour Group there in the theater.

You might have gotten further with "Shut up because I heart Captain EO too!"

or maybe: "You're squealing is making me want to hurl an even bigger protein spill." They might make the person shut up faster, especially if they're seated in front of you.

It's only a "limited engagment event" so they are using it mostly as filler until the next movie is made, and they either get Kodak back or a new sponsor.

If it does get replaced, it will probably stick with the "imagination" theme as that is the pavilion the film is located.

They could almost anything in the theater if they use their
imagination!

Kodak's not sponsoring at all now?

I didn't know that!
The hopeful plans we'd had for being back down there to see
Captain EO are on indefinite hold. Hopefully we can get back there before it is gone!

How long has it been?
I knew the Lounge they used for entertaining closed up awhile back, but I didn't know that also meant that Kodak had dropped sponsorship. How interesting (and sad!) just because they'd been a huge part of my life during the sponsorship (long story).

I thought they just pulled out of the DLR stuff in late Q3/Early Q4 last year, but it looks like they pulled out of all the imagination pavillion at Epcot as well at the end of September last year.

Kodak was pretty big with the 35mm cameras, but when digital cameras came, they just became another fish in the pond. They're not as big in the market as they used to be; so I can imagine they've cut back on expenses and the sponsorship would be one thing to eliminate to save some $$$.

Hmm. That would make a lot of sense; I hadn't thought about the impact they'd been hit with in the digital world.
