What rides have you been stuck on when they broke down?

In relation to Disney Parks but not specific to a single resort

We were sitting in the front row and we were stuck there for what seemed an eternity, but was probably 5-10 minutes. I believe it was just that the jeeps were backed up in the load/unload area and it caused us to have to wait. The problem with that is even though you know it's an illusion, there's something very unnerving about eyeballing a giant boulder rolling toward you for that long and knowing you can't run...
So does the boulder actually move, or is it an optical illusion? Does it roll toward you and roll back and then roll toward you and back?

The boulder does move, but it's not free-standing like the one at WDW DHS's IJ Stunt Show. It's like a giant wheel on an axis from what I remember reading at another website...

Exactly. Except when we were stuck, it was just sitting in one spot spinning on its axis. I knew it wasn't going anywhere and I knew we were perfectly safe, but it was still a little unnerving...human nature, I guess.

Usually I'm in the line when the ride breaks down. :(
I'd kinda like to see Space Mountain with the lights on... :)

As far as getting stuck on a ride, I was once stuck on it's a small world for about 30 minutes. That darn song playing over and over again and again. ruined it for me...
I have ridden Space Mtn with the lights on, I don't beleive they do that anymore.

Splash Mountain. I swore I never wanted to hear "Everybody's got a laughing place..." AGAIN after sitting there for 30 minutes but I lied...

And Test Track. A billion times.

And Haunted Mansion multiple times as well. Last time, it was around 30 minutes.

Have you ever been fortunate enough to have to be evacuated out and be able to see any good stuff along the way?! :D

I think everybody has been stuck on Splash and Test track. As a matter of fact Disney should have a Test Track tow truck!!

Haha extremely funny but kind of depressing. I have been lucky in my last few times riding test track to make it through the complete attraction without ever having to stop. I always feel bad for the people who get stuck in the heat test. I've been there and done that. Thankfully it was only for two or three minutes and then we started going again.

If they did, they would make it look like "Mater" so they could promote the upcoming release of PIXAR's CARS 2 this summer... :mickey:

I've only been stuck briefly on Splash, never Test Track, guess I've been lucky!

No I always have wanted to but it's never happened. Which is so disappointing! But I've seen backstage stuff and the like anyways so it's not that big of a loss.

I wonder if test track will have fewer shutdowns since the rainy season for OC normally is very light?

It rains in Florida pretty much every afternoon this time of year. I don't know how long the attraction closes after a rain...
