Hope this works!
You did great! I love the fact that you included some old photos too! Was that your Mom by the Indian and then you in later years by the Indian? Are you the little blond cutie in the photos?
Space Mountain looked very different with the lights on  I like how in all the cars people are looking around like crazy! I would have been too!!
Thanks for sharing :D

Back in the late 70's or early 80's I got stuck on the people mover for over an hour in the second speed tunnel with race cars whipping past us. Some kids tried to move from the back of the train to the front and when they got out they tripped the stop sensor. Why I remember this was just the night before some high school kid did the exact same thing and was crushed and killed doing the same stupid stunt. Eventually we had to walk out. It was kinda fun walking over tomorrow land waving to the people below.

WOW! Those are some amazing pictures!!!!! I love looking at the old photos of the parks...seeing all the changes. I wish we had more pictures from when I was little and all the times we went. But my mom wasn't into taking pictures...especially of the surroundings. She only took a few and there had to be someone in them. Somewhere there's one of me on the Motor Boat Cruise. Unfortunately, I have no clue where it is :(

Thank you for sharing those!

The one advantage of the digital age is taking photos are cheap where the 35 mm age was not, unless you got a really good sale on film.

And it wasn't just the film, it was the processing

Good point! That wasn't cheap either - but there for a while the competition drove the prices down and you could get some things for free - like the CD with the JPG images.

the other think I realized looking at those pics was the way my Mom is dressed...a dress, heals, purse and probably gloves! very different from shorts, tanks and flip flops nowadays! I have a ton more pictures, just have to find the time to upload em! thanks everyone!
Hope others have old pics we can see!

I've noticed that in the old Disneyland photos as well. The little girls are always in dresses, the boys in dress shirts, the Moms in their Sunday finest and the Dads in the suits. I think it probably used to be more of an "event" to go to Disneyland which required the "proper" attire. Makes it fun to look at the old photos :D

We were at athe very end of Rock'n' Rollercoaster when it broke down for only about 5 minutes. We walked off and they handed us Fastpasses. This was the best break-down ever!

Fortunately only once have I been stuck on a ride. Last year after waiting for over 45 min in line it was finally our turn on California Screamin'. It was the first time my 8 year old son was going on this ride as he finally reached the height requirement. While waiting to take off at the beginning of the ride (where the countdown takes place) we just sat there for about 10 min. Not much time for me, but an eternity for an 8 year old. A cast member ended up taking us off the ride right there and we had to walk on a gangplank off the ride. We were given a fastpass to use on any other ride in the park, and just waited to use it later in the day when the ride was operational again. During the ride my 8 year old became so terrified, he ended up somehow grabbing my arm and bit it really hard. At least I got a great memory of his first big coaster ride.
