It is saddening. I have pictures of both Pink and Purple that were taken about 8 hours prior to the accident. I also have pictures of them sitting at TTC with the walls around them that I refuse to post. As for the Tronorail, it only looks okay when you are looking at it with FW as the backdrop. It feels out of place any other way you put it.
That is sad :(

I do like the Tronorail though, it's something different. But then again I don't totally hate the cake castle so that's my taste for you!

WOW! Len, I LOVE your first pic. you posted, that a perfect shot!!! I have to say, I'm not a fan of the Tronorail, blah! And that is saddening to have pics. of Purple just hours before the accident. Very classy of you to not post pics. after the accident.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I honestly can't remember where I was standing when I took that shot, but I think it was the little observation area right past the exit. I used the zoom lens for sure, though.

Great monorail shots, Len! And I don't blame you at all for not posting the ones of the damaged trains. None of us want our last memories of those to be pictures like that.

Those are gorgeous photos there. I wish Disneyland did something over here with that.

I don't think so! I think the only places that would work would be somewhere in the front area, Main Street USA or in Adventureland.

Maybe they could do something of a smaller scale over in California Adventure...

Great shots disneylizzy!

Trust me when I say Disney tried hard to make sure they were completely covered and ensured that the guest couldn't see the damaged areas. As for the first shot. I was extremely happy I had waited for that shot when I finally went back and looked at it that night in the hotel room. It really stands out as an iconic EPCOT shot. I tried making Tronorail look good, but to me it will always be hideous and every time I saw it I had wished it was Coral that I was photographing.

Be glad it was TRON 2.0 and not Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana!

Thanks everyone!

I love the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot. We've been able to go each year for the past 2 years. It just really brightens up the park with so many colors.

WOW!!! So many beautiful pictures everyone! :D

I don't like the castle cake, the TRONorail is OK (but I agree with mindflipper...it's better than Jo Bros or Ms. Montana) and it's really sad to think that Len got pics of monorail purple before its demise. I also think it's very classy of you to not post those pictures post-accident. Thank you.

(sorry for the quick response, only a couple of minutes to browse :( )
