That happened to me in Peter Pan too. I was stuck in the above London scene for quite some time, then the lights were turned on. All the little cars on the streets were nothing more than little tiny LED lights on a track. It was quite interesting to see everything with the lights on because you can see how great the illusion truly is! I only wish I had my camera that day but unfortunately I did not

Do you still have that photo MoonPet?

I've always wanted to be stuck in that area too (or flying over Neverland). I imagine the star effect is just fiber optics, but I've always wanted to see.

I can't remember much other than the little cars not having any bodies

Plus the buildings looked pretty garish. I don't think any of the blacklight paints look good in regular light.

Yeah, the blacklight paint is normally pretty bad in regular lighting. We always laugh about how much lint you can see on us while we're flying over London...

That makes me feel like we've got a pretty good lint-catcher on our dryer then ~ I don't remember any glowing lint!

I do usually try to wear something that will look fun when we are planning the day in the MK, black lights make your clothes and shoes look cool!

Yes...somewhere in a windows folder of my photos from a few years ago. When I do come across it, I will certainly share it.

We were on snow white when it stopped and they turned the lights on. It was only for a minute but we were right under the queen with the big boulder. It's amazing how the lights on kills the whole atmosphere. You could see the wiring the pipes, all the black curtains to hold the effect. It's amazing how they do it.

I haven't had the opportunity to be on a ride when the lights turn on. My one wish is to see Space Mountain with the lights on in person instead of on film.

Been on the peoplemover/TTA many times in the past when the lights are on inside Space Mtn. I was surprised how small the coaster inside actually is when compared to the size of the building.

It is small compared to the building isn't it? They need lots of space for the queue and so you can get the full space tunnel music effect

That happened to us this past December 3rd. It was one of the coolest things ever. To see the other cars and how everything isn't as close as you think it is in the dark. We could see 3 other cars besides ourselves! When the lights popped on, everyone broke out there cameras and phones! We have some great pics and video - but it's true, being there in person was a whole different experience!
Miss Swan - Hope you get the chance someday too!

There are many free photo sharing websites, but I use Photobucket.com It is free and easy to use. You can upload photos and then just use the url code to share them on here. The have resizing options that make it easy to resize your photos to an appropriate size for sharing too

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Photobucket.com is the most popular around here for the reasons Amy stated. I use photobucket as well to post pics here on Subsonic.
