I imagine it's nice on the way back to Animal Kingdom proper, since it's a long walk from Preservation Station to the train station there! I'll have to try it next time:).
Actually, it didn't seem like that long of a walk. The whole train ride is deceptive about the distance involved.
I'm just talking about the walk from the train station in Rafiki's Planet Watch to the actual Conservation Station, not the train station that you board in Africa to head over to RPW. I don't think there's a way to walk there. Anyway, it's long if you have to carry a 4 year old the whole way!

I napped the last time DH and I rode Living in the Land. I think that's the only time a ride has put me to sleep (but only because Ellen's doesn't allow you to sit until you're on the ride itself... ).

I could never sleep on the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. It is a really jerky ride. Much jerkier than the ride around the MK, that is pretty smooth all the way around. I have no idea why.

The "jerkiness" is intentional; many trains in Africa have the uneven tracks and Disney wanted to re-create that feel.

Ah, well that does make sense, though I stand by the fact that I could never nap on it because of that, haha

It's really easy to sleep on the Disneyland railroad, because it's slow, not incredibly loud, and you can stay on for as long as you want. I think that it would also be easy to sleep on Spaceship Earth, because in my opinion it is boring.

I love love love Spaceship Earth, and would never sleep on it, but I do use it quite often at the end of the afternoon to relax and rest my legs, hehe

If you fell asleep on top of Spaceship Earth, wouldn't you have to worry about rolling off and down to the ground whenever you rolled over in your sleep?

Kinda like people would say that they can sleep on Imagination, but I could NEVER sleep on my FAVORITE ride! But it is a nice rest and there is never ever a line and it just relaxes me and makes me so happy, hehe
