Awwww, he's so cute, how could you leave him there Amy?! I do the same thing, I feel sorry for clearance plants and I buy them!

He was in quite a large arrangement which had no price but I'm sure it was high. These weren't in the clearance section...I was comparing prices. They really weren't taking much off for the neglected plants

Oh, I had thought the cactus was a clearance plant. I'm sure he will be o.k. then.

Hey, guys, remember this thread? I've thought about it often over the last year, and am always spotting hidden and unintentional Mickeys, but never manage to get pictures of them. Anyway, here's one! This was in a large conference room of a local Hilton hotel during a special occasion there. Guess who it is...?
I would have loved to have met the person who put this arrangement together. I guarantee you he or she is a fellow Disney freak and did this on purpose!

Goodness, Amy, I'd have taken him home! Too cute! Seeing as I can't have pets in the apartment, I guess I could dote on a cactus...

Oh, I have rescued plenty of the sad little clearance plants. Most thank me by dying shortly after I bring them home

But I do have a few success stories. One of these days I will have to take a few photos of the plucky little survivors...

I think the cactus would survive better at Mousekedude's home than yours, Amy. Texas is a perfect environ for it. It would have loved to move in with the mousekecouple...

Believe it or not, the paddle cactus, of which I shared a photo of a year or so back when it had two ears and looked like Mickey ~ this year it has three ears

~ anyhow...they actually winter over here and grow really well. Unfortunately the deer also find them rather tasty when everything else is covered with snow, so one of the plants has quite a hole through it's middle

Any time you wanna replenish your supply of deer food... um... I mean... cactus, let me know. I could ship you a whole truckload.
Yeah, we've seen so many Cactus shaped like Mickey that we hardly even react anymore. After taking pictures of the first 10 or 20 I was like, "hey... wait a minute..."
